Oldsmobile : 442 Convertible

It's holiday time and what better way to treat yourself or say "I love you" than by giving the gift of muscle!  Up for sale is one really nice Restored 1972 442 Clone Oldsmobile Cutlass S convertible. Not to sound cliche but this car gets thumbs up everywhere she goes. In 1972 the 442 was just an option package. This car was custom painted with airbrushed graphics that get a lot of positive attention. Amazing condition. Besides the 442 hood this is an all metal car with NO rust. The confirmed date coded 350 rocket motor was rebuilt about 1800 miles ago. Underbelly of car was sprayed with POR 15 which means it is rust-proofed and was painted black. Drives and runs excellent. Lots of money into this car. I have tons of paperwork. receipts totaling approx $16-$17k ( Not including price of the car) and pictures. There is new removable SONY stereo system with new Clarion speakers also has sub-woofer and amps for great sound. Tons of new parts went in since rebuilt:

ENGINE- REBUILT Date coded 350 CI & WAS FULLY REBUILT (LESS APPROX 1800 MI ) AT A NATIONAL NAME SHOP. ENGINE WAS PAINTED ORIGINAL GOLD COLOR AT THAT TIME. THE 350 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION  PROVIDES THIS RIDE WITH MORE THAN ENOUGH POWER. GEARS ARE ORIGINAL AND PERFECT FOR HIGHWAY DRIVING OR CRUISING AROUND TOWN. THE CAR HAS POWER STEERING & NEW DUAL EXHAUST WITH CHERRY BOMB MUFFLERS WHICH MAKES FOR A VERY NICE LOUD CLASSIC CAR SOUND. CARB IS A HOLLEY 4 BARREL AND CAR HAS AN EDELBROCK MANIFOLD. THERE IS A NEW BATTERY AS WELL AS A REBUILT STARTER. I HAVE DRIVEN THIS CAR 6 HRS ROUND-TRIP WITH NO PROBLEMS AT ALL.

INTERIOR- THE INSIDE IS NEW AND UPHOLSTERED IN HIGH QUALITY BLACK VINYL THAT IS EXTREMELY DURABLE AND HEAT RESISTANT. NEW CARPETING. NEW DOOR PANELS AND A NEW GRANT GT STEERING WHEEL FINISH OFF THE INTERIOR. IT ALSO CONTAINS NEW IN DASH UNIT THAT SOUNDS GREAT!

ELECTRONICS- HEADLIGHTS. TAIL LIGHTS. TURN SIGNALS. WIPERS. GAS GAUGE AND SPEEDOMETER ALL WORK. NEW REMOVABLE SONY STEREO SYSTEM. NEW CLARION SPEAKERS & REMOTE ALARM WITH STARTER KILL. HORN IS NOT HOOKED UP. ORIGINALLY AN A/C CAR THAT HAS ALL PARTS THERE BUT IT IS NOT WORKING. I HAVE NEW HIGH EFFICIENCY SANDEEN COMPRESSOR & CONDENSER FOR SALE SEPARATELY .

RIMS & TIRES- THE CAR IS SITTING ON AMERICAN RACING RIMS THAT HAVE A CLASSIC CRAGAR SST STYLE LOOK . TIRES ARE IN GREAT SHAPE WITH A LOT OF TREAD

PAINT & BODY-BOUGHT THIS CAR FROM A BODY SHOP AND THIS BEAUTY HAS BRILLIANT NEW $6500 PAINT JOB. GREY PAINT WITH BLUE METALLIC FLAKE. THE METALIC FLAKE IS REALLY COOL AS IT MAKES IT LOOK DIFFERENT WHEN SEEN UNDER DIFFERENT LIGHTS. BLACK RALLY'S ON THE HOOD AND TRUNK OF THE CAR HAVE BAD ASS AIRBRUSHED SKULLS THAT LOOK BETTER IN PERSON AND GET A LOT OF POSITIVE FEEDBACK/ATTENTION. THE UNDERCARRIAGE WAS RUST PROOFED WITH POR50 NEW FLOOR PANS WERE INSTALLED AS WELL. CHROME IS IN GOOD SHAPE BUT NOT PERFECT. GLASS IS GREAT TOO JUST NEEDS ADJUSTMENT.

KEEP IN MIND THE CAR IS 40 YRS OLD AND IS NOT A 1000% TRAILER QUEEN. NO PAINT NICKS. NO DENTS THAT I'M AWARE OF BUT A SMALL SCUFF HERE OR THERE THAT I'M SURE WOULD BUFF OUT. CAR IS BEING SOLD AS-IS WITH NO WARRANTY. I HAVE BEEN ON EBAY FOR OVER 12 YEARS AND HAVE A PERFECT RECORD. I HAVE BOUGHT A CAR HERE AND SOLD ONE BEFORE AS WELL. AS WITH BUYING ANY CAR I WOULD RECOMMEND COMING TO SEE IT IN PERSON BUT IF NOT CHOICE IS YOURS.
