Chevrolet : Corvette 2 Door Convertible

For sale one 1959 Corvette Hot Rod.   I am selling this for a friend who has ALS and wants to sell it to help pay for some of his medical expenses.

I will do my best to describe the car as I have looked through all the parts and inspected the car. It appears that the car was in process of a full restoration until its current state. The car has the original frame which has been removed and painted. as well as the body. The paint is a gorgeous Harbor blue with white coves with a clear coat. but may need to be wet sanded to bring out the best shine. Most of the major chrome pieces have been re-chromed. with the exception of the “eyebrows”.  grille mouldings and grille which still come with the car. It comes with the original clock. door handles.  rams horns exhaust. Motorola transistorized radio. restored seats. heater box. generator. starter. new gas tank. new aluminum radiator. Rallye rims with trim rings and sombrero center caps. white letter tires. soft top. exhaust. mufflers. dash console and wiring. span >  original carbeurator. coil. and new chrome master cylinder. My friend is also including 1959 Massachusetts license plates in case you want to register the car in MA. I am told that the automatic transmission and rear end are original to the car. and that the rear end has been rebuilt.  The motor is a rebuilt NOM 350CI. and includes a new fuel pump. new fuel filter assembly. new fuel lines and fittings. The car also has a beautiful new rack & pinion independent front suspension and steering unit purchased from Jim Meyer Racing Products installed.

From my assessment of looking into what parts have been installed and are coming with the car. I believe it will need the following to be finished: water pump. fan. distributor. interior kit (rug and panels. seats are done). windshield (comes with windshield housing). rear brakes. brake lines. transmission linkage. hood locks. dash pad. battery and battery tray. It may be missing more and may actually have more pieces in unopened boxes; I am just trying to be as honest and informative as I can. What you see in the pictures will be included with the car.

This car is an amazing project for anyone who is willing to undertake it. It is a very cool looking hot rod and will end up being a pretty unique car. I have been told that approximately $80. 00 has been spent so far on this car. and it should not take a lot more to finish. The reserve is very low considering the expense.
