1966 Chevrolet Impala Convertible - 350ci - 700R - 20"s - Power Top - Power Windows - Entirely Rust Free

- Up for sale I have an absolutely beautiful 66' Impala convertible. this is an original Los Angeles built car and has spent its entire life in Southern California.

- The car has the factory 350ci V8 which runs fantastic. feels tight and fresh. doesn't blow any smoke. no rattles noises etc. The engine has hooker headers. edelbrock performer inlet manifold. HEI distributor. and 4-barrel edelbrock carb. The engine is bolted up to a nice 700R 4 speed trans. It also has a twin exhaust that exits out the rear with glass pack mufflers that give a cool old-school low-rider note with a cool bark.

- The car has a brand new CPP 13” front disc brake upgrade with a new master cylinder and booster. The car also has a set of brand new front tubular control arms. with new ball joints. bushes. new lowered CPP springs. new CPP hubs and brand new shocks. The car also has factory power steering and factory air conditioning. unfortunately the air con is missing the compressor and condenser.

- The car has a brand new set of polished billet Coys 20”x8. 5” and 20”x10” wheels. with brand new 245/35/20 and 275/30/20 tyres.

- The car has recently been fitted with a brand new white electric convertible deluxe roof with a glass rear window. and matching white cover. The electric top works perfectly up and down. The car also has a brand new front windscreen with new door. boot and window rubbers throughout.

- The impala has factory electric windows throughout which work good. The interior of the car is in great condition. all trim. door panels and molding etc in beautiful condition with no rips. scratch's etc. New seat belts have also been fitted throughout the car. All gauges. lights etc work as they should. the car also has a old-school horn and siren which has a switch under the dash. The dash and dash top have been painted in body colour that is also a nice touch.

- The impala also has a brand new old-school looking head unit in the dash with 6” splits. tweeters and amps under the front seat with 2 x 10” subs in a custom sub box mounted in the boot. The sterio also has iPod connectivity and sounds and works great.

- Most people will know that impala convertibles commonly have rust issues. luckily this is a California car and is entirely rust free with all original floor pans. rear quarters etc. As shown in the pictures the underside of the car is dry and clean. there is no evidence of any rust at all throughout the entire car. The car was recently repainted in the US. the body is extremely nice and straight with great panel gaps. It has been painted in a very nice pale blue with a nice metallic. The paint is nice and flat and very glassy with no damage or major scratches or dints aside from some minor stone chips.

- All chrome and moldings throughout the car are in fantastic condition. the side moldings. badges. bumpers and grill are especially clean and bright with no wear or pitting whatsoever.

- This is an awesome summer time cruiser or weekend show car. she runs and drives great and gets a heaps of attention. It has 6 months full QLD registration. and a current QLD road worthy certificate so its ready to cruise over summer.
