You are looking at a very nice example of a 1968 Ford Mustang S Code 390 GT C6 car that has already had most of the hard work completed. This car is extremely solid and has already had the major sheet metal work completed professionally. and it was done right and you can tell by looking at it.

The car came originally equipped with a 390 GT engine. and a C6 transmission. The car had many nice options including the GT package. AC. Power Steering. Power Disc brakes and many more options.

The car comes with many new. and refurbished original parts. I will try to highlight all of the new parts that the car comes with.

New and Refurbished Parts:

GT Grille

AC Box

Power Steering Pump and Components

New Master Cylinder and Brake Booster

New Front and Rear Suspension

New Shocks and Control Arms

New Coil Springs

New Gauge Cluster

Refurbished Glove Box

New Bumper Brackets

All new Disc Brake Components

Refurbished Hood Hinges and Springs

GT Exhaust Tips

New Sway Bar

New Fender Shields

New Trunk Lid

New Battery Tray

New Passenger side Fender

New Full Floor

New Upper and Lower Console

New Rear GT Valance

Some New Weatherstripping.

New Turn Signal Hood.

And more.

The car also comes with many original parts that can be seen in the pictures. The car is very complete. It is not 100% complete but most of the big ticket items are there or have been bought new.

Drivetrain:

The cars comes with a 390 engine. It Is NOT the original engine. It is not a GT engine either.

The car does have its Original C6 with the PGA-P2 tag on it. It also comes with a like new torque converter. Trans has the matching VIN stamped into it.

Body:

The frame rails are near perfect on this car. No rust and they are very straight both front and rear.

The body on this car is very solid and straight. There is no rust in the engine compartment anywhere. It has the wrap around shock towers also. The VIN stamp is still on the fender apron.

The car has a brand new uppers and lower cowl panel. So no leaky cowl on this car.

The car has a new one piece floor pan that was installed very nicely and very clean. Very nice work. See pictures.

The car has a new turn signal hood. new rear valance. new trunk lid.

The car has had lower quarter patches on both sides behind the rear tires.

There are a few rust holes around the front windshield that could be easily fixed. There are also a few rust spots around the trunk molding channel. These could also be easily fixed as they are small.

The roof is nice. It was a vinyl top car but the top didn't rust out the roof at all which is a plus.

The original driver door comes with the car and still has the tag on it. An original passenger door also comes with the car. The doors have slight rust in the bottom exterior that could be easily patches. They will not need full skins in my opinion.
