FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION I HAVE FOR SALE A NICE 1965 MUSTANG: The dark blue paint is about 2 years old. its nice and on a solid body. The medium blue inter looks good. the 289 cubic inch engine runs sweet. the C4 automatic transmission shifts good. the car drive good with power steering.

UP FRONT: This is not a inspection. its the way I see the car as a 68 year old car restorer. retired auto mechanics instructor and Army helicopter mechanic. Its to help you make your mind up before you come look at the car car. Come look at the car your self. bring a mechanic. but don't hit the buy now button and send a inspector. I don't want to waste my time with them. its you I want to make happy. If you don't have time to come look or have the nerve to buy without looking. please don't waste our time. "Don't buy and be a cry baby later". I'm doing this for the fun of it and get to make the rules as a 68 year old guy!

TITLE: Clear Tennessee title in hand with a VIN that matches.

HISTORY: I bought the car from a lady in a nearby town here in east Tennessee. She loved the car but sold it to pay for a wedding for her daughter. I did not restore the car. I did fix a few things. but she had most of it done when I bought it.

HAS THE CAR EVER BEEN IN A BAD ACCIDENT? The title states nothing and I see no bends in the frame extentions.

HOW ABOUT RUST? I see no rust bubbles in the paint and the underside looks very solid to me. The flat bottoms of the floor pans have been replaced with the correct ones and a good job was done.

HOW IS THE PAINT JOB? Its about 2 years old and I think it look real good for a car of this price range. I think the dark blue metallic is the original color. no dings. no dings and I see no rust bubbles. The car shines good and looks good. but it has never been buffed.

HOW IS THE CHROME? The bumpers and emblems look like new. the stainless around the windows is good with a couple of minor dings. The door handles look real good. the vent windows have minor pitting.

HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Seat covers have no wear. door panels good. carpet good. consol good with some pits in the chrome. dash pad decent. headliner good with small wrinkles at the rear lower corner.

HOW IS THE GLASS? The side window roll up and down OK. the windshield has been replace in the past. but has some minor marks you can see in the bright sun. I will have it replaced with new rubber if it bothers you. you can add about $275 if we have it done.

DO THE LIGHTS WORK? The headlights work. the tail lights work. the turn signals work. the interior light works. the brake lights work.

DO THE GAUGES WORK? I think all the gauges work.

WIPERS WORK!  GAUS GAUGES WORKS! HORN IS NOT WORKING!

AFTER MARKET RADIO IS NOT WORKING!

DOES THE AIR CONDISIONER WORK? Its been cold here. but it feels like it works good. the compressor kicks in and it blows good.

HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? It drives good for a Mustang. they are not famous for driving good. We had to put a new power steering control valve and arm on for a cost of $275.

HOW DOES THE CAR STOP? It stops decent for 4 wheel drum brakes. they are not power.

WHEELS AND HUBCAPS: The tires look like new. the hubcaps are Ford wire spinner. but not oringal Mustang. "I don't car for the look. but its decent. "
