1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Brougham

  You are bidding on a very low 32. 59 mile Cutlass Supreme that has only had two owners since new. This original pristine survivor car is AACA HPOF (Historical Preservation of Original Features) eligible and will stand out at Olds meets and shows. When you open the door. you feel like you have been taken back in time to 1979 and driving it for the first time off the showroom floor. It is highly detailed by its current owner who spent hours waxing. cleaning. and detailing this car to show worthy condition. He is very picky. dare I say anal. and took over 4 years to find this Cutlass after numerous other cars that didn't meet his expectations. What caught his eye was the very well cared for condition. 1 owner. V8. and original documentation. Too many of these cars have been converted to street racers. DONK cars. Lowriders and customs. You just don't find them this original anymore.

  This Cutlass has the original paint markings and paper tags from the factory still in place in many areas. I was amazed how nice the original chrome and bright trim was throughout this car. Inside the trunk looks like it's brand new. The engine compartment still retains its blue and green painted bolts. stamping on the drivers valve cover. and original decals. You can even still see the painted stripes on the driveshaft! The interior is very clean. The ashtray looks to have been never used. The original radio is in place. The headliner is still in great condition. No cracks on the dashboard at all.   The only flaw is the rear sailpanels are dry and cracking. The owner does have another set that will be included in the sale. The seats and dash are as nice in person as it looks in these pictures. The A/C is still R12 and will need a recharge or converted to R134. It no longer blows cold. It runs and drives like brand new!  Great for weekend jaunts and road trips alike.

  This car was purchased new from Ralph Oldsmobile in Smithtown. NY and has had 1 owner for 34 year until last year when the current owner purchased it from her.   It was never driven in salt or snow and always garaged and covered. which explains its very nice original body and paint. The original 260 V8 runs well and has just been tuned up with new AC Delco parts. Also new are the DieHard battery and the Gas Tank plus Sending Unit. You can drive this Brougham anywhere reliably and in comfort.
