Jeep : Other Scrambler CJ

No Reserve. 1981 Jeep Scrambler CJ-8 Survivor.   Here is a Rare Automatic 6 Cyl Scrambler that came with factory power steering. Air Conditioning. front disc brakes and a half-cab hardtop.   I purchased this Jeep a couple of years ago to restore and honestly. its just so cool to drive it like it is. I decided to keep her original.   I purchased this Scrambler from a local man that has become a good friend.   This Jeep honestly drives great and the engine sounds spot on.   I have personaly owned many CJ's and Scramblers and this has been a favorite.   This is the only Scrambler I have had and found in a factory Automatic.   You can check out the video below and see that this is a great find.   The only actual rust I have found is behind the seats on the floor were carpet had been placed and moister set in.   I took pics and showed this in the video.   The frame and underside is in great condition and only shows pealing of the original undercoating that was very thin.   The tranmission shifts great. 4WD works great. oil and temp gauges work right. speedo does bounce when driving. and I have never had the fuel gauge working since I've had her.   This would make a great restoration project or honestly. a great Jeep to just cruise around and enjoy as I have.   She has a Shackel lift and running BFG All Terrain Tires that maybe have a thousand miles on them.   All Fluides are up to date. new plugs. new cap and a Red Top Battery and the brakes work great.   No Major leaks noticed.   All Vin numbers are on the Jeep and match with a clear Texas Title.   Call Ron at 682. 333. 7433 with any questions.
