1972 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE PRO-TOURING    Frame off restoration    Corvette LT1 engine

This Chevelle had a frame off restoration in 2009. and everything on the car has been replaced or upgraded.   The car came from Texas and was a solid car to begin with.   The body is very straight with good gaps on the trunk. hood and doors.   It is Black Metallic Paint with Silver stripes that was professionally prepared and painted.   It has a Cowl Induction hood with hood pins.   All of the chrome on the car is new.   All of the stainless is in good condition as well.   The grill is like new as are the taillight bezels and lenses.   Car is equipped with dual rear mirrors.   The glass is all like new throughout the car.    The car is riding on a like new set of American Racing Torque Thrust II Wheels with Yokama 235 50R 17 tires on the front and 275 60R17 tires on the rear.   It is equipped with a LT1 engine transplanted from a 2004 Corvette along with the 4L60 automatic transmission. and  wiring harness .   It has Hooker Headers and Magnaflow stainless steel exhaust.   The  frame was professionally sand blasted and powder coated.   It is equipped with 4 wheel Wildwood disk brakes It has a new gas tank with a Walpro fuel pump.   It has a Strange Engineering S-60 rear axle with 373 gears. new SBC tubular upper and lower control arms with all new suspension parts including the shocks steering gear. springs. ball joints. front and rear stabilizer bars.   The car has a new aluminum radiator with twin Spal fans.    The car is equipped with power windows and a great sounding Pioneer Stereo.   There is a new dash pad and new carpet the front seats are from a Lincoln.   The seats both front and rear have professionally been upholstered. in leather.    Car is equipped with Classic Auto Air that blows cold for those warm summer days.
