Overview

Runs strong. air suspension and A/C work well; the interior is one of the best I've seen.   Clean title with no evidence of any accidents.   The transmission shifts and feels great.   New tires. battery. and fluids.

If you are looking at this listing you probably are already aware these cars grow legs over 90mph.   This one is no different.   It just keeps pulling and pulling. smooth and strong all the way to. uh. :)

History

I bought the car about a year and a half ago from a friend with the intention of keeping it forever and bring it back to a near show-room condition.   Work. kids. etc. have changed may plans; I simply don't have much time to spend with it.   I believe the mileage reading of 67. 19 to be correct but do not know for sure.

When I purchased the car it did not run.   It ended up being a seized feeder fuel pump. once replaced the car ran great - still does.   All the rust appears to be surface only and not through anywhere I could find; it's a California car.

There are a few items that need attention:
The front passenger window switch sticks and sometimes will not move the window up. The A/C blower fan switch will only work in high. medium and low do not turn the fan on.   The driver's side rear automatic lock will not fully lockThe sun roof works but sticks at times and needs a little help.   It probably just needs to be cleaned and oiled.
Stock radio has be rewired to a newer version (that works) mounted in the glove box. The engine will fire right up when cold but you have to give it a little gas to keep in from dying until the engine warms up a bit.

The car is being sold AS-IS.   I will help with shipping but it is the buyers responsibility.

I've had an incredible interest in the car and received quite a few questions from bidders. I compiled a list and answered them below. Clicking an image should link to a full-size version.

Q: Do you have the original radio?
A: I believe this is the original. the one in the glove box has been piggybacked to the original from what I can tell.

Q: Do you have the original steering wheel?
A: No

Q: Do you have the user's manual and other documentation for the car?
A: No. I have the full factor repair manual in English.

Q: Is the driver's door well tag with VIN still there?
A: Yes

Q: How long do the airbags hold air?
A: Two-Three weeks is will settle but not all the way to the bump stops. It's usually driven by three weeks.

Q: Is the veneer of the glove compartment lid broken?
A: Not that I can see.

Q: It looks like there are two holes in the roof lining. any idea what caused them?
A: No

Q: Are there other major imperfections inside?
A: No

Q: The body gaps seem ok in the pictures. Are there any uneven gaps?
A: No

Q: Do all doors close using with same power and make the same sound?
A: Yes. they all feel and sound the same - solid and well made.

Q: Is there visible smoke in the exhaust?
A: I've seen it run a little rich on start-up and when the engine is at WOT. It's not oil burning. just a little rich.

Q: Does the engine consume oil or coolant?
A: No coolant and not much oil if any.

Q: The chrome good in the pictures. Pitting in one door handle is visible. Is there any other imperfections in chromed parts?
A: The rear driver's side passenger handle is the worst of the chrome. the rest looks great.

Q: The body surface rust is evident and an undercarriage member has been repainted matt black in the front. Is there rust in places which do not show in this set of pictures?
A: I've had the car up on a lift and did not see any concerning rust. all surface stuff. The worst by far are in the pictures. I lightly painted those areas because the black factory coating was flaking off in spots

Q: Does the car have any leaks?
A: Yes but not much. I will get spots on the floor of the garage but no puddles.
