Offered For Sale is a collectible 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe. It is an attractive early Mustang. with the desired "C" code V-8 engine. The coupe looks great with its stock appearance of white wall tires and hubcaps.

The car is not a showroom example. but a nice daily driver which can be improved upon as the new owner wishes.

The exterior re-spray is old. However. it was painted to match the factory color. which the code indicates as Candy Apple Red (T). The panels have typical blemishes such as door dings and paint touch ups. The car can be painted in the future. but this Mustang still looks great now.










The interior is in clean condition. The seats. carpets. and door panels were reupholstered not too long ago. The driver seat has a hole on the top. and there are some minor tears to the headliner. The front windshield will need to be replaced. as it has a long crack on the driver side. near the pillar.






















All the gauges work. however the fuel gauge is temperamental. It works intermittently. so I'm assuming it needs a sending unit. or there's a bad connection. Everything else is good. Factory Ford radio is still present. but is a non-op. Horn and interior light work. Signals. lights. brake lights. back-up lights. etc. are all in fine working condition.







The Mustang fires up instantly and has plenty of power. The idle is steady. quiet. and smooth. The dual exhaust sounds great. It's no wonder these cars are so addictive and fun to drive. The power to size ratio is right on. In the future. a U-joint may need to be replaced. as there's a slight vibration when under load.





The Mustang has not been registered since 2010. As a result. many new mechanical components were just replaced/installed to revive the pony so it will be in reliable running condition.

Here is a list of items recently installed :

* New fuel tank

* New brakes - all (4) drums turned; new front cylinders; new hoses; new shoes

* New ignition system: distributor. rotor. cap. coil. points

* New timing chain

* Recent radiator

The trunk is solid and there are no signs of rot. etc. From what I see. the body. panels. and undercarriage are relatively free from rust. considering the age of the car. Up front. the frame rails have some rot. near the radiator. ahead of the motor. The rest of the undercarriage looks fine - rockers. floorboards. etc.

















This Mustang is quite a crowd pleaser. Its striking appearance makes strangers want to talk to you and share their fond memories of growing up in a time when there were muscle cars all over the place. Owning it will make you proud.

It also has the collectible status of having maintained its stock appearance all these years with a factory Candy Apple red exterior (code T). and interior trim of red/red (code 25).

These early Mustangs are solid financial investments. The V-8s are always in demand and prices are constantly on the rise. Get in now before the market prices you out. Owning a classic '66 Mustang is more stable than the stock market. Who says you can't mix business with pleasure?
