For sale is a well-preserved 1969 Burgundy fastback mustang that my dad's parents bought for my aunt on her 16th birthday in 1969. For the next 40 years. my grandfather maintained the car for my aunt. Though driven regularly. the car has been garaged since the mid-80s. At that time. my grandfather overhauled the engine. just to make sure it was in perfect condition for my aunt. He was an aircraft mechanic who enjoyed working on his family's cars in his leisure time. He was ALWAYS in the garage and loved this car.
This car been garage-kept in the arid Oklahoma City climate all it's life. and is an impressively preserved mustang. It's a numbers-matching car. with original engine. transmission. and rear-end.
A few things:
1. The exterior was professionally painted the proper ford burgundy in 2006. The interior is preserved and original. to my knowledge.
2. Current odometer reading: The odometer has flipped once since 1969.
3. The original air conditioning system was switched from freon to the modern coolant system in the early 2000s.
4. The passenger door recently became stuck. and is most likely a very minor repair that can be done at home (pulling the panel and finding the issue).
