The exterior showcases a professional restoration in the correct Garnet Red color. The paint and body are in excellent condition throughout this car. with a few minor chip touch-ups. Again. this Camaro retains its original GM body panels throughout. This is a dry climate Camaro and it shows.
The hide-away headlamps work correctly. The 1969 Camaro is arguably the best looking Camaro ever produced. with design features enhanced from the earlier cars. The '69 model was much more aggressive. especially the RS/SS version.
Power is up to 375HP+ with the addition of this GM crate aluminum head 350 cubic inch ZZ3 engine. This powerplant features enhanced breathing abilities consisting of a Holley 4bbl. 750 double pumper carburetor & Hooker ceramic coated full length headers. The cowl induction breather is fully functional. paired with the steel cowl hood. This upgraded powerplant is paired with an updated clutch & Tremec 5-Speed manual transmission. This is a true driver's can. an absolute pleasure to drive.
Further inspection of the engine compartment will confirm the original trim identification plate in place. This is a true X-11 Norwood built Camaro. The original sheetmetal is in excellent condition throughout this car. including the firewall. inner fenders. and core support.
The interior is beautifully done. with attention to originality the focus.
The white vinyl bucket seating is paired with the factory center console & gauge package.
Even the console plate has been updated to match the modern Tremec 5-speed transmission.
The dash is in excellent condition. The speedometer and factory tachometer are functional as are the rest of the gauges. The door panels are in great shape as are the rear interior panels. The carpeting and rubber seals were also replaced throughout this Camaro.
The doors. hood. and deck lid align correctly.
The white convertible top is in excellent condition. power operated and just professionally detailed. The white convertible top boot compliments the interior and SS stripes against the brilliant Garnet Red paint.
The trunk is very clean and detailed. complete with the spare tire/wheel. jacking equipment. and mat.
The undercarriage is a further testament to the high quality condition of this '69 Camaro. The subframe and flooring is in excellent condition. The 12-bolt rear end houses a posi-traction and 3. 31 gearing. The engine and transmission undersides are clean and detailed. The subframe features welded steel from front to rear. stiffening the entire chassis of the car. This car is simply the real deal. ready to show and enjoy.
This Camaro will do very well at any car show. especially larger regional shows. It was built and driven on the Power Tour. it has been featured in Car Craft.
The paint and attention to detail is excellent throughout this Camaro.
