SCTA vintage resto mod restored antique cruiser patina

1955 "Big Caddy Daddy"!!   Arizona car all of its life.   I bought the car with two cracked heads.   I completely dis-assembled the entire car. Took the entire interior and all of glass out of it. even pulled the complete dash out. I took the frame and body shell and had it sand blasted being sure that they did not touch the outside of the sheet metal so I could preserve the original paint and patina. I then primed and undercoated the frame and bottom of the body.   Also primed and painted flat black the entire inside of the body and the engine compartment.  

Chassis has been completely rebuilt as assembled. All new brake lines. suspension bushings. new shocks. wheel cylinders. wheel bearings. brakes. and put dropped spindles and disc brakes on the front.   Rebuilt the rear end and put lowering blocks under it.   New gas tank and all new fuel lines.  Had the engine sent out for a professional and complete rebuild and added a 1955 two four barrel intake.   Sent the carburetors out and had them completely rebuilt. The transmission has been completely rebuilt. New radiator and fan shroud. New Vintage Air under the dash air conditioning system that works great. The wide white wall tires are not new but they are in great shape with about 70% of tread left.

The body is in great shape.   Paint and patina are as I bought the car other than I repaired a dent the size of a softball under the passenger side tail light.  That dent was repaired by moving the metal back in place. not filling the dent with Bondo. All of the chrome is there. NO ROT in the body. floors. or trunk.   The only rust through I found was one hole in the driver side front floor pan and I repaired that after it was sand blasted.   I had 208 louvers punched in the hood and removed the hood ornament. All of the glass is good with all new seals installed.   All of the power windows work great at all switches.   Everything works on the car except for the radio even the headlight dimmer.   The radio comes on but does not pick up a channel?  Complete new wiring harness.

The interior is absolutely beautiful.   The dash and all metal parts were repainted and all of the instruments have been cleaned and repaired. and they all work. All of the chrome was cleaned and polished. The entire interior has been redone.   New carpeting. new headliner. seats recovered. EVERYTHING.

Other than fixing or replacing the radio the car does not need anything in my opinion.   Please ask any questions before you bid.   I can help load on any truck or trailer.    Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements.
