If you have an old Nova SS that you want to restore consider this. You can buy this completed high quality nut and bolt restoration for less than youre going to spend on parts alone.  Like buying the parts used for the build at a deep discount and getting free labor and free car. You certainly cant come close to duplicating this build for $35. 00. 00 and it would likely be quite a task even finding another 1970. big block. 6 speed . A/C Nova SS currently available on the market at any price.

When I built this car my goal was to build a car that would perform around town like a high performance muscel car and also have the ability to get onto the interstate and cruise long distances in comfort without the sensation that Im stuck in 3rd gear. Im proud to say Ive nailed it. Yes you can have your cake and eat it too. You dont have to sacrafice performance to be able to cruise comfortably at highway speeds.

About the Builder : I am a 53 year old GM Certified Master Technician and ASE Certified Master Technician. I started working at a Chevy Dealership when I was 17 years old. I have a lifetime experience and a particular passion for building these types of cars. In 2013 I had 3 builds sell at the Barrett Jackson Auction all in excess of $60. 00. 000. They were all great cars but none as nice as this Nova.

This is a fresh frame off nut and bolt restoration finished in 2013. Ive had my fun with it Im done showing it off. Its run its course time to move on to another project.

This Nova was born a genuine 4 speed big block SS Car

Tremec T-56 Magnum 6 speed transmission. For those of you who have never had the pleasure of driving a T-56 this is a truly remarkable piece of equipment. Shifts like a precision instrument. Almost like having a vertical gate shifter 1st through 4th gear no missing gears. 1st through 4th is a close ratio 4 speed . nbsp;5th . 80 and 6th. 63 are overdrives. You can enjoy the outstanding performance of the close ratio 4 speed matched to a 5. 13 rear axle and still get on the interstate and cruise all day long in cool comfort.  

The period correct 396 Big Block was designed for maximum performance using corner gas station pump gas. 10. 25:1 compression. No need to buy expensive high octane racing fuel.

This car is very fast and is a blast to drive. Traction bars do a good job helping it stick to the pavement. On launch squats down nicely leaves straight. hard and pins you back into the seat.  

I can't leave the driveway without someone wanting to stop and talk about the car.

Car is available for inspection or road test any time. Don't eat a big lunch before the road test and bring a fresh pair of drawers.
