I was building the sports car behind when I realised I would need to buy the basics and donor car for my next project then. before they all dissapeared. which I did. but not having time to start on the construction a then friend asked if he could undertake the the process if I bought all the materials and payed him for his time. After many dissagreements the final argument came over the rear suspension and this was not finished. So the car is not rolling ! Even though the drive shafts have been professionaly shortened to the correct length and fitted with new CVs. The basis is a Renault Fuego 2 litre slopping 4. still facing forward but now behind the driver and was running before removal from the donor and is still free. The wheels and hubs are MGB which have been reconditioned. the brake calipers have been reversed to the front as per Ferrari. There are new tyres all round being larger to the rear. I have started work on the buck for the body this was to have a surfboard type foam glued over this base to shape to the body. A CMC 18th scale model is included which cost nearly $600 so it's extreamly acurate and all parts can be measured with a vernia and using a calculator X 18 to get the right size for any given part.
