Land Rover : Defender Soft Top

This Defender has been recently refurbished including a brand new galvanized chassis (frame) and a new suspension including heavy duty coil springs and new polyurethane suspension bushings.  The interior has been re-done and the seats are newer style vinyl and cloth seats.   The truck has a smooth running fuel injected Rover V8 engine that has plenty of power for highway driving and an automatic transmission.   The truck has newer tires with plenty of tread left and alloy wheels with a matching full sized spare wheel on the tailgate.   If you are looking for an off-road or trail rig this truck is ready to run with steel bumpers front and rear and a set of steel rock sliders.   There are hi-lift jack points at the front and rear and in the sliders to assist in off-road recovery.   This would also make an excellent daily driver and could easily be fitted with rear seats and interior to make the truck a four or six passenger vehicle depending on the seating configuration.

The paint job is a recent re-paint and it is in good condition with a good shine and only minor wear and tear expected for a vehicle of this type.   The body is in very good condition as well with only a few minor dents that do not detract from the overall vehicle.   The most noticeable dents are on the fender tops where it looks like someone had set some tools while working on the truck.   If the new owner would like I can include a new set of treadplate fender top panels that would cover the blemished area and protect the vulnerable fenders. The canvas top is in serviceable condition and has plenty of life left.   The rear plastic window does have some fogging and could stand to be replaced.   The interior is generally in good condition. nbsp; with newer seats  and rubber floor mats.   The dashboard is in good shape with no fading or cracking.   There is one speaker grille that is missing. and the transfer case shifter requires a new vinyl trim boot.

This Defender is very fun to drive and a very unique vehicle.   It would make for a great daily driver. camping vehicle. hunting truck or even an off-road rig.
