Ford : Mustang Convertible Shelby

This is a gorgeous Shelby Convertible Restoration Tribute.   The original car was a GT. but was professionally converted to a Shelby with all correct body panels. power train. emblems. stickers and confirmed authentic autograph by Carrol Shelby himself.   The car has won many shows and is a total head turner wherever you drive it and with the upgraded power steering. 5 speed transmission. 4 wheel disc brakes with 11" rotors. new clutch. wiper squirters. rad reservoir. and new CD stereo. and some new roof frame parts and clamps.   You can drive it anywhere you want. as often as you want because the drive train is pretty much current. up-to-date. and strong running.   The paint is completely flawless and the interior is almost flawless. but just a bit of wear on some of the original door panels. etc.   When I say flawless. I mean FLAWLESS because I don't think that there is a scratch. chip. or dent anywhere on the car.   There are no leaks and all gauges. including the clock work.   The engine pulls strong. has a great growl and doesn't burn or leak any oil.   I have a binder with all receipts from the restoration that was completed about 5 years ago.

I am not a mechanic. so all work that I have had done was handled by a licensed and qualified mechanic and since I have owned it. I installed 4 wheel disc brakes. new clutch. new stereo. washer squirters. new power steering components. and a few other minor updates.   In the description above. I was given all of this information from the binder that came with the car. so although I don't know what it all means. I have to assume that it is all good!  However. if you have any more questions about anything. I will find the answer for you. even if I have to get it from my mechanic that normally works on the car.

I am not a dealer. just a private owner that bought this gorgeous a few years ago. but am selling because I have too many toys. can't drive them all. and just got hit with a huge tax bill. so the wife said that something has to go.   I may be able to deliver the vehicle. depending on where you live and the selling price because I have a one ton dually and can rent a U-Haul car hauler. but will require payment in full before I make the trip.   I figure the cost to be about 50 cents a kms + trailer rental.   Otherwise. I am happy to help with any other assistance you may need in having it delivered or if you come to pick it up.   I live in Calgary Ab. Canada. but the car is stored at our summer house in Kelowna BC because of the nicer weather and longer seasons.   It is not difficult to obtain a title to ship it into the U. S. and I have all this information in order to do so.   I can also deliver the vehicle into Washington State somewhere and deliver to a common carrier if that is easier.

The car was appraised last year at $68. 00. 00 and the appraiser was blown away at the detail that was put into the restoration to make this a true Shelby tribute.   In fact. he said that he had never seen a Mustang Shelby that was as authentic as this one and had he not been told that it was not an original Shelby. he would not have known.

The way I look at it - you can pay $250. 00. 00 for a real Shelby or you can drive one just as nice with all the same features and looks. for a fraction of the cost!
