1960 LAND ROVER WAGON TYPE II

Thats correct. when your parent turned on mutual of omaha on sunday nights back in the 60's this was one of the vehicles that the host Marlon Perkins used in the wild kingdom show. This is a very straight aluminum body. steel doors. riginal Landy. It has the top plate that is dented but can be fixed or removed. The motor turns over but will need work. If it was me I would just rebuild it and everything mechanically is there. Water pump is not attached but I have it.

This one will not be hard to totally restore and the early type two's are almost extinct! Original bench seats in rear.
I have a parts catalog that you can get anything for this.
Really a cool Landy.
Has the four cyl. 2. 23 Petrol motor.
To disclose evertyhing honestly I would add that the breaks need totally gone and I do not know the condition of the transmission.
It has just over 87. 00 original miles on it. But it has sat for ten year. Really the body inside and out is great. just some surface rust on door areas. Not much.
Pricing it to sell because with the right resto. these can bring as high as $60. 00 and i have seen it. I have owned a 71 and I know what would take to bring this back. and that number is realistically around $5000. 00 to $7. 00. 00 Alot of these though if done correct normaly bring at least $25. 00. The sky is the limit on the restoration. Very cool Landy!
