1973 Ford Mustang Convertible

Who doesn't want a Bright Red Mustang?! Well-equipped last year first-gen Mustang! Mach 1 graphics. AC. power steering. power disc brakes. power top and more! This car is ready for Summer '14!

By 1971. Ford had already sold several million Mustangs. The specific formula was creating as many configurations as possible. The newly introduced 1971 Mustang was the biggest yet. almost a foot longer and 600 pounds heavier than the original 1964½. Along with an increase in size was in increase in possible configurations. The Mustang was popular for its customization from the beginning and by the early 1970s. the Mustang could be had with a myriad of engines. trim levels. colors. wheels. stripes and options. The 1971-1973 cars are considered the last of the first generation; they still had the option of large engines. although in various states of detuning.

We are very excited to represent this 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible. Finished in its original color combination of Bright Red over Black knitted vinyl and Mach 1-style tape stripe. this ‘Stang certainly has the look! Originally an H-Code car. it is fitted with a non-original 351ci 2V and C6 Automatic transmission! In addition to the many standard features of the '73 Mustangs. this car is graciously optioned with the following options: Air conditioning. power disc brakes. power steering. power top. bumper guards. console. color-keyed racing mirrors. Coustic AM/FM/Cassette radio and more! The car rides on custom spoked wheels with Nexen N3000 235/45ZR17 tires.

This Mustang shows 20. 82 miles. which we believe to have been driven since restoration several years ago. The paint and chrome was also done at that time and while not perfect. shows well. The car also received a new top at this time. More recently. the entire AC system was gone through and blows cold! These last of the first-gen Mustangs have proven themselves time and time again as fantastic cruising automobiles and this car is about as road-trip friendly as they get. with many power accessories. AC. automatic and a 2. 75 rear end! The car still wears all Carlite glass and has its original owner's manual. It represents a very drivable example of the 134. 67 Mustangs built in their final V8 year! We would be more than happy to answer any additional questions on this Mustang; please don't hesitate to ask! Thanks for looking!
