This car was recently purchased from a family who has had it since the mid 60's and it had the engine removed 40 years ago and had not seen daylight until this year . The straight axle craze has been returning in a huge way for some time now . We all know a credit car will buy anything your heart desires in a catalog to build the best gasser around . With that said many guys are trying to remember and build tribute to those good ole days when this Car right here was there and lived it and was a part of that historic time. This is not a replica of an old Hot Rod or a tribute . its real it was there and you may find the tow bar or the steel lift blocks a little raw that stuff is true to form and happened in the "GOOD OLE DAYS" . The tin work under the hood is very sanitary and well executed for the early 60's era. The interior features chrome garnish moldings . typical little buddy bucket seats . Vintage 60's diamond tucked rear deck. chrome vintage steering wheel and 60's instruments. The windows roll up and down like new. The doors click shut like a restored car . this thing is a time machine . The glass is tired but not broken and the door panels and rear deck are still nice even after all these years. The body is extremely solid and it would appear to easily accept most any V8 set up you like with a very universal crossmember. The car shows no collision and the body is very straight . The paint is tired but I like it just like it is. The rearend appears to be a 55-57 chevy car and the straight axle has been lifted with 1/4 inch steel custom blocks "they are stronger" than they appear in these pics. The car did not come with a title but I can get one for $300. 00 if desired . The car appears to have never had a roll cage . The steering works great and the keys are in the ignition still today. I can go on and on so call or text with any questions please . 405-473-3204
