Chevrolet Blazer K5

 Hello everyone you are looking at a very hard to find original 2- owner truck.  

The history of this truck I know of goes as follows: The original owner lived in Florida and sold it to the 2nd owner in 1980. with 45K miles on it.  The second owner lived in Florida during the winter months until 1995 (see dash!) and mainly used the truck for recreational purposes.   He had it painted around 1984 and made the custom bumpers you see in the pictures. The 2nd owner moved to NY full time in 1995. so the truck has a title from NY issued in 1995.   It has never been driven in winter up here and so it has never had a plow on it. etc.  

It was stored outside while being used. so it needs body attention.   The engine starts and runs smooth. with no noises or leaks. etc.   A/C is complete. but owner removed the belt (included) a few years ago when the A/C quit blowing cold.   It is the original engine and transmission.  

EngineThis engine runs great. no exhaust leaks. no smoke. etc.   Has dual exhaust and sounds great.
Transmission automatic transmission turbo 350 full time four wheel drive. Transmission shifts smooth and has no problems. Power steering. power brakes. all work good.
Electrical ComponentsReverse lights and brake lights/headlights all work.   Turn signals may need flasher.   AM/FM 8 track works. even though antenna is broken.   The gauges except for the temp gauge are working as they should. as well as the clock.   Wipers function as well.  
Rust/BodyYes like most all these old trucks it has rust. The front fenders have rust near the bottom. rockers have some holes. but the tail gate has ZERO rust. Beyond that the floors are decent. with a few small holes. as well as where the top sits. and a hole or two under windshield.  The body of the truck is not perfect and has been painted once before and will need body work has very small dents and scratches paint is faded and peeling. As far as I can see this truck has never been in any major wreck.   Drivers side top door hinge needs replaced.   The frame has no rust. and looking under this. all the bolts. nuts. springs. exhaust. nbsp;etc. look good.   Outside door mirrors are not available. as well as the missing moldings on outside of doors.   Wheel well moldings are included.
InteriorThe truck has the bucket seats with console.   The rear seat is included. but not bolted down.   Dash is crispy and rear carpet was removed.   Has tilt wheel.   Rear window operates.  
Suspension/wheelsThe Jimmy rides on a factory optional deep wheels and has not been lifted or been altered in any way. rides and drives real smooth.   The tires are mismatched brands and need replacing due to dry rot/ sun checking.
So with all that said Don't miss out on the chance of owning a good restoreable original convertible classic.   They only made this style Jimmys/Blazers as true convertibles for 1973-1975. then they put frames around the door glass.   These are nearly impossible to find in the northeast in any condition better than scrap.   With a good set of tires. one could drive this thing home.   Fun truck!
