Great restoration candidate

Sale price: $18,489.00 make an offer

Seller's notes: "The engine turns over with the key. The fuel tank, pump, and Zenith carburetors will all require attention in order for the car to run. If you're not doing a complete restoration, the engine should probably at least be resealed and potential problem areas addressed at that time. Cosmetically, the car shows signs of being driven and parked in public places, bearing various minor dings and imperfections. Vehicle, however, is remarkably rust free. The floor pans are solid but at some point, a towing company has badly damaged the area around the front tow hook, possibly already weakened by some exposure to battery acid. The interior is well worn but could probably improve dramatically just with a good cleaning. One of the wheels is not original to the car. I have tried my best to document the problem areas photographically and will take any additional photos as requested."

This is a 1970 Porsche 911T which I have had stored in a semi climate-controlled area of my shop for the last 8 years. Prior to my acquisition of the car it sat. undriven. in the previous owner's garage for over 2 years. There were no mechanical issues with the engine at that time. aside from numerous small oil leaks. but the fuel system was fouled from sitting and this has never been addressed. The engine still turns over with the key. I intended to return the car to service but never have taken the time. Depending on the outcome of this auction. I may proceed with my original plan.

Please examine all the photographs and read the detailed description regarding overall condition / flaws. etc.

**PLEASE NOTE** This auction is for an ACTUAL automobile. NOT right of first refusal to purchase an automobile.

One reason I am offering the vehicle just as is sits is because I know how picky Porschephiles can be. and I think that for the right buyer. this relatively unmolested vehicle would be an ideal starting point for a restoration. The VIN# is 9110100581. The engine number is *6106700*  A clear Arkansas title is in my possession.

A non-refundable deposit of $500 from the winning bidder is due within 24 hours of the close of the auction. The remaining balance is due within 7 days and must be paid by cash in person. cashier's check ONLY.  Payment must be received IN FULL prior to the vehicle being released.

The car IS NOT drivable and will have to be picked up. Shipping will be done at buyer's expense and the vehicle must be picked up from my location. We have semi-truck access.

I am enthusiast "friendly" but if you are too fickle / pretentious / condescending. I'll have to tell you to step off.

Thanks for reading!
