1986 AUSTIN MINI CHELSEA - FULLY RESTORED for sale

I drove this for 2 years and then took it off the road with the intention of restoring it someday.  
over the past year I carried out a full restoration! 

I have over 100 photos at all the stages of its restoration. from being a bare shell. to the finished product. It has had.  

* full poly-bush kit 
* all wheel bearings 
* Slotted and drilled performance brakes with green stuff pads (no brake dust) 
* all top and bottom ball joints (joints lapped and greased) 
* reconditioned steering rack and new track rod ends 
* both subframe - body bushes and engine mounts 
* 4 brand new falken tyres (have done 15 miles to MOT and back) 
* handbrake cables and quadrants 
* all brake lines and brake hoses 
* all new boge shockabsorbers 
* reconditioned front and rear subframes 
* full engine rebuild 
* new fuel pump 
* rebuilt and balanced twin 1" 1/4 su carbs 
* all new ignition system (coil. points. dizzy cap. plugs leads etc) 
* all water hoses 
* new battery 
* new throttle. heater. choke cables 
* new carpet throughout 
* both front floorpans 
* both front and rear inner sills 
* both outer sills (9. 5"/ big sills) 
* rear subframe mounting panels and the dreaded seized subframe bolts and nuts! 
* repair section of drivers door skin 
* new front panel/valence 
* repair to wing/ a panel 
* cleaned up electrics and blade fusebox (not rubbish glass fuses) 
* new headlights and indicators and horn 
* new chrome radio Ariel 
* new chrome grille and bumpers 
* Full respray (I did it. not a professional finish)

when welding I seam sealed every joint to prevent as much future rusting as possible! 

as you can see I have done a huge amount of work to her and have a nice photo album of it through the stages.  

It has a years MOT but is currently SORN. SO NO TAX!
As previously mentioned. the paintwork is not professional however as minis with this much mechanical work AND a showroom body go for 4-5 grand. you could have this resprayed and still break even!
I am a mechanic by trade. and I had it MOT`d by a very thorough testing station (for my peace of mind) so you can buy with confidence!

Hi,

Couple of questions. To start, is this sold already? If not, is this a left or right hand drive as the info says left but the pictures show right. Any other info would be wonderful.

Hello! I am super interested in your little mini and would just like to know if the pictures have been mirrored as it looks like a right hand drive but you have said it is a left hand drive?
