1973 Mustang Mach 1 Q Code Show Car MCA Grand National First Place Winner

This is an incredible 1973 Mustang Mach 1. basically a survivor car with one Show Quality Re-Paint.   It has a perfect 2 stage paint in Grabber blue with argent strips.   There is no rust anywhere on this equisite car.   In fact. last year it took first place at the MCA (Mustang Club of America) Grand Nationals at Disney.   It rides on newer 245/60R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/A RWL tires.   The exterior is truly perfection!  At the MCA Grand Nationals. the car only lost 2 points. one for a minor ding in the Passenger side windshield chrome trim. and the 2nd for a bit of black paint missing on the gas tank (already addressed).  But it gained a point back for the MCA window sticker.  So basically. it achieved 100 points and a 1st class win.
This superb Mach 1 was a custom ordered car with some very rarely seen options such as interval wipers and tilt Rim Blow (restored) steering wheel.  Except the clock. nbsp;EVERYTHING WORKS.  You won't find a finer example of the 1st generation Mustang anywhere!!  This car is truly an exceptional Mach 1.
The interior is original. and looks incredible.   This is a highly optioned Mach 1 with such rare options as tilt rim blow steering wheel (restored to show standards). A/C which is Ice Cold. AM/FM 8 Track which works perfectly. light group. sport deck. original spare with original inflation canister. sports interior. Center Console. and tinted glass complete.  The clock just stopped working. but it is easily repaired. but at least it is correct twice a day!
Mechanically. this car has a lot to offer.   In 1973 the "Q" code was the most powerful engine offered in the Mustang with 266 horsepower.   The engine is a 351 4bbl V8 Cobra Jet Cleveland attached to a Automatic C6 Transmission running to a Traction-Lok Differential.   It runs and looks like new.   The car has about 88. 00 original miles. but looks showroom fresh.  She starts every time and really has that vintage muscle car sound.
There are not too many 1973 Mach 1 Mustangs that can compare to this incredible car.   So if you want the best. you just found it!!  The 2013 MCA Grand Nationals 1st Place winner!  Making this Mustang one of the finest in the country!
