One look at this 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air  Sport Coupe and you will just know. this is your ride! Want a car with low miles?  This Chevrolet Bel Air has exceptionally low miles with the odometer currently reading at 61. 67. which is believed to be original.  It's also believed that this is a 3 owner car. The restoration of this vehicle was completed in 2003 by Al Thompson. from Al's Speed Shop in Aurora. IL.  This was Al's last restoration before he retired.  The VIN decodes this car as a 2400 (Bel Air) w/ V8 built in Flint. MI.  The engine pad decodes this engine as a 265 V8 2 barrel with 162 horse power and a 3 speed on the column manual transmission.  The cowl tag decodes this 55 Chevy as a RARE Shadow Gray/Coral two-tone exterior and Gray/Coral interior.  The cosmetics of the exterior will reveal some very minor scuffs and blemishes in the finish but only under close examination. All in all. it is a very clean looking ride. Given that this is a used classic car. the interior is really in very good shape with no rips. tears or stains to be had anywhere in it.
