Being re-listed due to a non-paying bidder who made zero contact with me.
Here is my pride and joy up for grabs. I have owned this car for about 12 years. and with the help of my father (Owner/Operator of Nelson's Rods and Customs) we have built this 1966 Morris Minor up to its current glory. and it has been dubbed "Chuck Morris" because its such a badass car. I recently moved from Peoria. AZ to Charleston. SC and was unable to bring the car with me. so it is currently in my dads possession in Peoria. AZ so shipping or pickup will be from Peoria. AZ. Below I will break down every detail about the car that I can think of. and I will also describe the things still needed to complete the car.
Chassis. Suspension. and Steering:-3/16" wall mild steel 2x3 Full Custom Chassis-Full custom roll cage (has never been certified. but should meet race specs. proper materials were used)-Full custom floor pans and firewall built with quality heavy gauge steel-Floor pans have bed liner type coating inside and out for long lasting corrosion resistance-Custom built . 250" DOM front strait axle with early chevy ends and spindles-Leaf springs front and rear with drag shocks-Reverse Corvair steering box(steel housing) W/ Cross steer design W/ steel tube and Heim Joints
Engine:-Crate ZZZ350 Small Block Chevrolet Modified by BDS Blower Drive Service(First Generation Performance Crate Engine from Chevrolet. only 1200 produced)-Block # 14093638 (86-94 Roller Cam. 1 Piece Seal. 4 Bolt Main)-Crankshaft # 14088532 (Forged Steel Corvette Crank 86-88) -GM Pink Rods # 14096846 (1038 Forged Steel. 3/8" bolts Heat Treated. Magnafluxed. Shot Peened)-GM Blower/Turbo Pistons installed by BDS-GM Aluminum Heads # 10088113 (L98 Corvette 88-91. 163cc intake runners. 58cc Chambers. 1. 95 Intake 1. 5 Exhaust)-Comp Cams Roller Tip Rockers 1. 52 Ratio-Comp Cams Roller Supercharger Cam. Street Profile. Installed by BDS. I do not have the specs-Brand new 671 Weiand Polished Supercharger-Older made Mr. Gasket Dual quad blower scoop. modified to sit lower over the carbs (still needs a little modification to bolt down just right)-ATI Billet Aluminum front timing cover W/ BBC Seal size-ATI Billet Steel crank hub W/ BBC Size for added strength at the front of the crankshaft-Custom Billet Aluminum Timing wheel and polished aluminum pointer-Chrome Mini starter
Transmission:-GM 700R4 HD Built (large input shaft size. welded internals)-B&M 2800 Stall Converter (need to install supplied TC bolts)-B&M Black Diamond Ratchet Shifter (Brand new. Needs mounted)-Needs Trans cooler
Driveline and Rear End:-Custom made driveshaft-Factory Ford 9" Rear end housing. Narrowed w/ factory shortened axles. Extended rear studs-Brand new built 4. 30 gear Trac Lock Posi. 28 spline-Rear axle housing could use repainting
Wheels and Tires:-Vintage Cragar SS Front Runners 15x4 with good tires-Vintage Rocket Racing Rear 15x12 with Hoosier DOT Street Slicks. they are mounted and inflated. but needs tubes installed
Brakes:-Front Disc Brakes. GM Calipers. The front Rotors are actually the Rear rotors from a 1967 Corvette-Rear Factory Drum Brakes-Does not have an E-brake setup at this time. but could be installed-Chrome GM Master Cylinder With Billet top cap-All brake plumbing is done. but the front lines need reattached and system needs bleed
Ignition System: All brand new and Installed-Zex Nitrous/Turbo plugs-MSD 6BTM Ignition Boost Timing Master-Pertronix Flame Thrower Billet Distributor-Pertronix Flame Thrower coil-Taylor Performance Orange Custom Fit Plug Wires
Fuel System: All brand new and Installed-Dual Edelbrock 550 Carbs-MagnaFuel Prostar 500 Billet Fuel Pump (Awesome Pump)-Aeromotive Bypass Regulator W/ Under hood Gauge-Kinsler Billet Pre filter-Aeromotive Billet Post filter-Full -10AN Braided supply and return fuel lines and Quality AN fittings-Custom Aluminum Fuel Cell
Exhaust:-Custom Built Fender Well Headers. 1-3/4" Primaries -Magnaflow Polished Stainless Mufflers (Need installed)
Cooling System:-Northern Crossflow Aluminum Radiator (nice quality)-Chrome Water Pump. needs pulley-Remote Filler Housing (needs mounted. needs Radiator hoses)-Needs Cooling Fan (Wiring is already there)
Dash:-Custom Machined Billet Aluminum Dash Panel Ball Milled-Full Autometer Gauge set  -Programmable Electronic Speedometer (still need to install the supplied reluctor wheel on the tail shaft)  -Monster Tach  -Oil Pressure  -Coolant Temp (Sender needs Installed)  -Volts  -Boost Pressure (Pressure line needs Installed)  -Fuel Level (Sender needs Installed)-All Gauges Wiring and Dash Wiring is Complete-Custom Aluminated Billet Push Button Switch Panel
Wiring:-Speedways Motors Fuse Block and Wire Harness Kit all installed-All Vehicle wiring is Completed. all joints soldered and shrink wrapped. only high quality work done-Aluminum battery box mounted in trunk. with all new battery cables installed
Interior:-Jaguar XJ12 Bucket Seats Installed (They have old upholstery. not torn. but could use redoing)-Has no other interior. will need carpets. headliner. and door cards-All interior paint is completed-Custom Billet Aluminum Steering Column-Grant polished Aluminum Steering Wheel. Mahogony wheel
Glass and seals:-Has all new Window Rubbers and felt all the way around. new door and trunk seals as well-Except it needs the rear window rubber. its available but I do not have it. so the rear window is not installed
Body and Paint:-Chevrolet Hugger Orange Paint-Superior quality paint and body work done-Body was taken down to bare metal-radius wheel wells all the way around-NOTE: The hood is not painted at this time. I'm working on getting that sorted out now-New unpainted grill included. new grill trims included-Both Bumpers included. a new chrome rear bumper is included. the front is still in good condition but will need mounted
Well. I think that pretty much covers it. But if you have any questions. please just message me. As you can see. tons and tons of money and time have went into this car. Hagerty insurance covered this car for over $50k just with the provided specs. My Reserve price is far below what it would cost to do this yourself. and far below what I even have invested in just parts. Save yourself the time. money. and headache. and buy this local legend :)
