Rare 1948 Diamond T Truck. # 306. nbsp;Award winner . Hot Rod Custom. This truck has a lot of special touches . un and quick. Flat black body is painted with enamel and hand sanded to give it a cool patina . Doors have a scull and  lettering that says Phantom 306 . it looks like its torn away in the paint. This was a big truck at one time . ow the Body sits on 1978 Chevy 1/2 ton truck frame. bobbed . lowered 2". 112" wheel base. All Steel body. front fenders widened 2" . 940 ford rear fenders. custom bed and polished diamond plat bed. 20 gallon racing cell fuel tank under rear hinged diamond plate . locks with key. Locking trunk mounted to frame in the truck bed.  One piece tilt front end. Steel running boards you can stand on! Looks low and chopped . ts not. just channeled over the frame. Speed bumps no problem.  Front 2 piece windshield cranks out . ew glass and rubber on it.  Passenger side glass is cracked but looks cool. windows all crank and work great. Rear window is safety glass with the wire in it -really old school from an old school. Interior is fully insulated and has a cool diamond  tuck headliner. Cool metal flake burgundy and black paint. Padded doors and dash. carpet  and nice bucket seats with shoulder /seat belts. Interior is burgundy and black.  Diamond plate pedals and step plates. Diamond cut antique glass door knob on the shifter with floor console . Mustang outside mirror for inside rear mirror. Full gauges speedo needs cable. Lacara 40s style wheel . ilt. Overhead console with map lights. This truck has running lights . linkers. third brake light and fog lights . All cool and period correct . Pontiac tail lights. Signal cab markers that are running lights and blinkers too. Stacks in the truck bed are real and sound perfect. not too loud but not too quiet . truck has a nice Flomaster rumble. A mild build on the 355/385 hp Chevy linked to the 700 r overdrive trans makes it skoot along as quick as you want to go. Walker radiator. ower brakes no power steering. Tires are Michelin 235x65x17 front and 265x65x17 in rear mounted on American Mags. custom painted with a mild  flat black metal flake. New shocks. ir shocks on rear.  Everyone calls this truck "Bad Ass" It draws a crowd everywhere too. Award winner and a ton of fun to drive and show. Very rare truck I saw a stock one go for 95 grand-this one is cool. classic and fun to show and drive. This one will hold its value. Thanks. sorry NO TRADES .
