1974 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000. 61. 35 miles. All work performed by the Alfa experts at Carriage & Motor Works in Kansas City.

History:
Car manufactured 9/74. Originally purchased in 1975 at Hayward Auto Imports in California. I am the 4th owner and have owned the car since 1995.

Engine:
Original SPICA injection. New piston rings and oil sender installed at 56000 miles. Engine runs well and pulls strongly. Stumbles a bit when started from cold. but smooths out quickly.

Transmission/Clutch:
No issues. Shifts cleanly into all gears. New clutch master cylinder installed at 56000 miles.

Brakes:
No issues. Emergency brake works.

Tires:
New Pirelli P4 radials (185/70) installed at 61000 miles. Original Michelin XAS spare.

Exterior:
Car stripped to metal and repainted in 1992 by Carriage & Motor Works in the original white ("Bianco Spino"). As a testament to the quality of their work. the paint still looks great. No dents or scratches. Chrome is generally good but shows its age in places. Fuel filler door slightly warped.

Interior:
Seats redone by the second owner in the 1980's. Still in excellent condition. The carpets and headliner are intact but show their age. Original shifter knob and wood-rimmed steering wheel. Original push-button radio is basically decorative since antenna was removed by previous owner before repaint. Typical GTV cracks in the dash (see photos).

Electricals:
All exterior lights work. All gauges work. Heater fan. wipers. and turn signals work. All gauge lighting and dash warning lights work except turn signal indicator. Rear window defroster and windshield washer do not work.

Rust:
I am not so bold as to describe any 40-year-old Italian car as being "rust free. "  That being said. mine doesn't have much. There is some surface rust in the engine compartment on the battery side (see photo). Jacking points are all good. as is the spare tire well (see photo. )

Oil leaks:
Yes. it has them. I keep a drip pan under the car.
