MotoeXotica Classic Cars is ecstatic to offer another nostalgic Ford with an ultra rare option! This 1954 Ford Crestline Skyliner has a VERY rarely seen dealership demonstration hood. which was built to showcase Ford's new 239ci overhead camshaft V8! These ultra rare hoods. believed to be only 200 ever made. were never intended to leave the dealer showroom – although a few eventually snuck out. This is a true California car and has recently been freshened up with a new plexi-glass top. door glass. window channels. engine compartment detail. paint detail and lots of new rubber. This is a seriously cool classic!

The 1954 Ford Crestline Skyliner you see here is a beautiful example of a single model year run. Finished in Calypso Coral with a gray top. the Crestline has been freshened up and has a great shine and luster with only a few very minor rock chips. The chrome bumpers look great and appear to have been rechromed in the past. The body is straight as an arrow and solid. This particular car comes complete with a continental kit and fender skirts. As this Ford is of the Skyliner variety. it does have the famous plexi-glass panel above the front seats. inviting light in and really opening up the interior of the car. The plexi-glass is in very good condition with no cracking or discoloration. This really is a car you must see to believe because the pictures do it absolutely no justice.

Inside. the white vinyl seats are bright and clean with no notable wear marks. The headliner is in great condition with no sagging. The dashboard is original and finished in two tone white & black. just like the rest of the interior. The dashboard houses a set of original gauges and an AM radio. The door panels. kick panels and carpet are all equally as nice with no signs or wear.

Under the hood (or straight through the hood!). you'll see the 239 cubic inch. overhead valve engine. The engine has been nicely detailed and looks great. Transferring the power thru the remainder of the drivetrain is three speed automatic transmission. The 15” wheels appear to be original to the car and are wrapped in P205/75R15 tires that look great.

This is an excellent opportunity to own a rarely seen. very rare manufacturer optioned car. As mentioned before. it's believed only 200 of the demonstrator hood 1954 Skyliners exist! The VIN is U4GF116255 and the mileage currently shows 46. 21. The car is being sold on a clean & clear California title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!
