HERE'S THE STORY: THIS CAR WAS PURCHASED IN 1988 FROM REEDER CHEVROLET IN KNOXVILLE TENNESSEE. I AQUIRED THIS CAR IN 1999 FROM A DEALER IN KNOXVILLE TENNESSEE WITH ONLY 183 MILES ON IT. I DROVE IT HOME TO LONDON KENTUCKY APPROX 100 MORE MILES ON IT. I PARKED IT IN MY DEALERSHIP SHOWROOM THEN SOLD IT TO MY MOTHER IN LAW IN 2000. MY MOTHER IN LAW WAS A KENTUCKY STATE LEGISLATOR BACK THEN (REP. BARBARA W. COLTER 90TH DISTRICT). HER INTENTIONS WAS TO USE THE CAR IN PARADES AND SUCH. SHE DECIDED THE CAR'S WHITE INTERIOR AND SEAT BELTS AND PRISTINE CONDITION WAS WORTHY OF BETTER TREATMENT. BARBARA HAS ONLY DROVE THIS CAR A COUPLE OF TIMES AROUND TOWN. I HAVE HAD THE CAR IN MY POSSESSION FOR THE PAST 12 YEARS AND OCCASIONALLY DRIVING IT TO "STRETCH IT'S LEGS".  WE HAVE KEPT THE CAR INSIDE ALWAYS IN A CLIMATE CONTROLLED ATMOSPHERE AND THAT'S WHY IT IS STILL ESSENTIALLY NEW. THERE IS A LITTLE YELLOWING ON THE INSIDE DOOR HANDLES BUT THE REST OF THE CAR IS NEW. EVERYTHING IS COMPLETELY ORIGINAL EXCEPT FOR THE BATTERY I CHANGED 7 YEARS AGO. I HAVE SEEN A LOT OF SO CALLED "SURVIVIOR CARS" OVER THE YEARS AS A DEALER BUT THIS ONE IS AN HONEST EXAMPLE. NO DISAPPOINTMENTS! AS TIME ROLLS ON.
