HONDA Z600 COUPE - Very sharp looking and very reliable - has been refurbished to be a very neat personal daily driver - if you're wanting 100% original. this car is probably not for you - if you're wanting a very distinctive. nbsp;timeless classic that will turn heads from all ages and walks of life. you just need to have the high bid - I have been guilty of "fibbing" to strangers. sometimes. and telling them. when they ask. that yes. this is a new car. and that Honda has started making the 600's again. just like Ford Mustangs and Chevrolet Camaros are being made again. and they just smile. and say they're glad that they are getting to see this new one - then I tell them the truth. that it's a 1972 model. and they just can't believe it - you can call it upgraded. refurbished. modified. or renewed. but not to be confused with restored - this is by far the best of 4 Honda 600 coupes that I purchased from a body shop owner appx.  8 years ago - he had done a complete paint job. inside and out. and he had fixed it up for himself - times changed. and I purchased all of them from him - other than the 3 small appx. 1 1/2 in. scratches shown on the right rear fender and a small 1/2 inch rust bubble that I just noticed to the right of the spare tire door. nbsp;the paint job has a very deep shine that looks brand new. even though it's appx. 9 years old - and it's not just the interior panels. but everything was completely removed and painted. before it was put back together - when you have time. you can even wax the paint on the underneath of the hood - looking it over. there is no doubt that it is a very professional paint job - stock color would have been pop orange. but this is brighter and deeper - you don't notice the difference from stock color til you see it parked next to a stock color. and then you can really tell the difference - and speaking of hood. this is one of the few that I have seen that have not been damaged and repaired on the right passenger side rear corner. where the prop rod puts all of the hood weight on the one small area - I added one last picture showing a original Honda orange fender placed next to this car so you can see the difference in orange vs. orange - I did get about 8 or 10 very small hail pecks that are disappearing slowly as it is parked in the hot sunlight - if I didn't mention it. you would never notice it til you would be looking very close and carefully - after keeping this car appx. 4 years. I sold it to a nearby friend of mine. who owns a welding shop and does my fancy welding (I can do unfancy welding myself) and also owns one of my baggage bay Hondas. which he had done the welding on also - he has owned this coupe for appx. 4 years since I sold it to him. and now is ready to sell it - Other details are all of the windows being lightly tinted. (which is removable if desired) except for the windshield. which is not tinted - the factory driver's side exterior rear view mirror being painted flat back. the locking bead around the windshield being gold. rather than stock silver. It has the Posi-Trac mag wheels with recent Kumo tires. custom center caps that bolt on from the inside. The door window frames. 1/4 window frames. and the rear hatch frame have all been painted a dark silver gray. rather than black - these are all part of the many. many details that this car has to set it apart from all of the others - it would have eliminated many steps to just paint everything with the rest of the car - the interior has been nicely updated - the original seats and door panels have been recovered in a period correct style and are black with grey inserts. nbsp;and also has a matching style custom steering wheel - the dash has been nicely recovered with a leather-like material in black - the dash has the original radio plate without a radio. but there is a modern radio/CD player under the dash on the passenger side that everybody but me seems to be able to operate but me - all of the headlights. taillights. turn signals work. along with the overhead console light working when each door is opened. and also the buzzer sounds when you open the door and leave the key in the ignition - it has good original seat belts. sunvisors. and interior rear view mirror - it has a new battery. nbsp;good brakes. tight steering. easy starting and good running engine. It has a stock single exhaust pipe with a sporty sounding single motorcycle muffler that Y's out to two professionly made tail pipes. The chrome is all as good as it looks in the pictures. except for some imperfections in the top center area of the front bumper right behind the license plate - It has not had or needed anything other than minor tune-ups since I first purchased the car 8 years ago. It has a clear title w/matchiing numbers on the door frame plate and the firewall lip - the odometer shows a little over 31. 00 miles. but I can't say if that is corrrect - the engine has numbers showing it was from a sedan previous to me purchasing the car - secure inside storage after the purchase is no problem til it's picked up. and I will accomodate anyone's schedule. I have had Honda 600's for about 18 or 19 years and this is probably the best one that I have ever had - I've also parted out many truly neglected rusty Honda 600's to be able to supply parts. as I still do. nbsp;to many of the proud Honda 600 owners - and if any of you have not seen one of my modified baggage bay Hondas. you can log on YouTube and look up "  ray cave honda 600 "  and see us unloading one from the baggage bay of my bus - Thanks for looking !
