Here we have for sale an original and rare 1959 Cadillac Deville 4 door sedan. It has a 390ci v8 with an automatic transmission. The Caddy has spent the majority. if not all of its life right here in the dry Reno. Nevada desert. I bought the car from the original owners. The Caddy is in good overall shape. The engine runs and the brakes stop well. The 1959 Cadillac is one of the most iconic and desirable cars from the 1950's. mostly because of its tall rear pointy fins and dual tail lights on each fin. The back end of the car is something else. it looks so good and stylish. The fins have that classic 50's look that no other car during that time period has. The Cadillac is painted white but it was original painted pink from the factory. You can turn the Cadillac back to a pink Cadillac. The car is all complete minus the fender skirts and a few parts here and there. The body overall is in good shape. There is minimal rust in the rockers. There is a dent in the passenger door that all will need to get fixed. All issues that can be addressed before repainting the car. The front and rear bumpers are in good shape and the chrome is shiny but has some pitting on the chrome's surface. The front bumper is pushed in a little bit on the passenger side. The hood and trunk are in great shape. The tires are old and cracked but they hold good air. The hubcaps are original but have a hard time clipping onto the wheels. Some of the wheels might not be originals. The glass is all intact. The big curved front windshield is nice and is not cracked. The two side windows are though. The windows roll down and up electrically. The interior is all original and is in good shape. The headliner is nearly perfect. The seats are pretty nice however the front driver side seat cover has come apart at the seem. The door panels are all in nice shape. There are rear cigarette lighters. The back seat is in nice shape. The dash has deformed from exposure to heat. The gauges seem to all work. The dash has a radio and a clock mounted in them. The trunk is solid and has a carpet liner. original spare and jack mounted there. The engine is a 390ci Cadillac OHV V8. The engine runs but smokes a little when you rev the engine up. The engine is going to need a tune up and same as with the automatic transmission to make roadworthy again. The car needs some attention with the wiring. The car has been sitting for many many years so the car needs to be gone though. I figure somebody will probably do a restoration with the car since a restored 1959 Cadillac are worth some big bucks in todays market. Although the car starts. drives and stops. It is not quite road worthy and needs some attention before that can happen. It will be able to drive on and off a transport trailer because the brakes do work and stop well. Overall this is a good example of a 1959 Cadillac but needs work and attention. I have a clean and clear Nevada title in my name for the Cadillac.
