SIERRA COSWORTH THUNDER SALOON.

 

DESCRIPTION

The body kit was fitted some 10 years before I purchased it. and I have owned it for 7 years. so its been on  some 17 years. its a nice fit including front and rear bumpers. The paint job is fantastic as you can see. a few little marks from use as you would expect. Its had new cills in the past which involved removal of part of the body kit.  

Engine rebuilt using Woosner. low compression pistons. bores honed. crank just needed polishing. lightened and balanced new shells etc. Head ported and polished. new buckets etc. lightened fly wheel with paddle clutch.   Level 6 ECU Chipped to 360/380 cannot be sure but thats what it says on the ecu. green injectors. 3 bar map sensor. t3 turbo. Stainless big bore exhaust.


Interior   Custom Recaro leather interior. genuine 3 door including doors cards front and rear. Additional gauges 1 is not connected.

Wheels. brakes. Compomotive split rims 11x17 rear 9x17 fronts. brakes are stock. but overhauled new seals. sorry rear discs are drilled. ABS works as it should. Koni fronts. with Avo rear adjustable coilovers.

I purchased this car some 7 years ago as a project I finished it 1 year ago and have used it very little. It pulls well and drives as it should. nbsp;It would benefit from some engine detailing. and a rolling road set up to get the best out of the engine. but its quick enough for me.

It has lots of history lots of old MOTs.  Alloy tags from RSOC shows 1995/1997. it turns heads every time it goes out. its awesome.

The car has been back on the road less than 12months after its long 7 year resto. The engine has done less than 250 miles (this may alter if the weather remains good). as I will be using it.
