 1961 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Tuxedo Black w/Red interior. 283/270hp. 4-spd. It was the first year for the updated body style that would last through the '62 model run. It was the last year for the optional and very popular painted side coves that had become a Corvette design staple since '56. It was also the last year for the legendary 283ci. small block engine. This very nice '61 was restored in '03 and still looks and runs great! It's powered by a 283/270hp dual quad engine and a 4-spd. transmission. It's getting harder to find nice driver quality solid axles any more
