Nic Cage Signed Eleanor Mustang!!!!!!!

This is a very unique example of an Eleanor Mustang. I bought this vehicle many years ago just after the movie had come out. The original purchaser had bought the Eleanor kit from the same guys that built the car for the movies. The fiberglass parts were made using the same molds as those made for the movie. He also got the passenger side dash plate signed by Nic Cage which goes with the car. The car had several areas of questionable repairs prior to my purchase. Once I got her home. I replaced any sheet metal that had corrosion issues. Essentially. the entire interior/exterior sheet metal on the car except for the roof and doors is redone. The roof and two doors were the only areas where the panels were still in good shape. All the hard work has been done by professional auto body technicians and she only needs the final fit. paint and assembly with your engine and transmission preference.

Body – As stated earlier. the body was in marginal shape when I got her. I essentially cut out all the corrosion and replaced with new sheet metal. Some of the new parts include both front frame rails. radiator support. front and rear floors in passenger compartment. both front enders. both rear quarter panels. both rear frame rails. rear quarter to rail extensions both sides. rear body panel. all gutters in trunk area. The nose. hood. trunk lid. side skirts. tail lamp panel. air scoops (upper and lower) and fender/quarter flares are fiberglass. They need to be fitted and finished. prior to painting. All of the fitting has been done except the fiberglass parts. The fenders also are not final fitted due to the fiberglass nose. However. this is easily done when the nose section is bolted into place. The doors open and close smoothly and all the gaps are perfect! There are also duplicates and variations on some parts such as the upper air extractors (Shelby & Eleanor versions) and quarter extensions ('67 & '68). The lights are the correct PIAA type for the headlights. lower large driving lights. inner fog lights and backup lights in rear. Stop lamps are from a Cougar and I have the correct trim bezels that go with it. Front and rear glass are in decent shape and serviceable. Also have all the chrome trim (complete and undamaged) that goes with it.

Interior – All the major interior pieces are here. However. you will have to get new seat covers etc. and some of the other plastic parts will need to be repainted/reconditioned to make them look new again. Essentially it's a full interior restoration needed situation. You also get the Shelby roll bar (bought for $650 when first purchased) with the shoulder harness attach point. A new dash pad (black) is included. Steering wheel is genuine wood grain repro style. Nic Cage signed dash plate and Eleanor switches. There are duplicates of many of the hard to find items such as the seats. fold down panel etc.

Powertrain – Currently the car has a 302 with a FoMoCo 2 barrel carburetor. This was installed to make the car portable to move around the shop. However. it has been sitting for some time now so its going to need some minor maintenance to get her running again. CAR IS NON RUNNING. Needs to be winched or pushed onto trailer. You can use the engine also as a core for a rebuild to put back in the car.

However. I do also have a 427 side oiler block available for sale if you are interested. Its just the block and crank. Its clean and has never been bored oversize. Pictures are attached. THIS 427 IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION. BUT CAN BE PURCHASED SEPERATELY.

The transmission is an original 4 speed top loader. It works fine with no issues. Has the reverse lockout. with original shifter. Like all the rest of them. this one has some play in it that can be “tightened up” with a new set of bushings from a vintage Mustang parts warehouse.

 Steering/Suspension/Brakes – All the components are new or refurbished. The rear end is a 9 inch. Front disc brake conversion with new control arms (upper and lower) and bushings. All it needs is to be re-torqued and an alignment.

As you can see from the pictures. there are dozens of additional misc. items like wiring. door handles. trim pieces. etc that go with this sale. Did I mention the Total Control Products pedal inserts? New(ish) fuel tank? Over the years I've spent more than $35. 00 on the car itself and the additional items accumulated over time. Car is located in the Dallas area. Buyer is responsible for making transport arrangements. I can help load onto a trailer or car hauler if needed. All the parts are neatly stacked inside the car EXCEPT for the front and rear glass due to their fragile nature. If you have a trailer and pick up. you can have this loaded and on your way in 20 minutes! There is a lot of good stuff here and this will make a great finished product. Unfortunately. my interests have changed and I no longer have the time or patience to see this through. I have the title free and clear of any issues.
