Austin 12/4 Burnham Pickup Truck.
1929 model.
This is a three quarters finished project. My father has owned it since the 1960 s and has tinkered with it over the years. Some of it looks original and some parts restored.
All major parts are available to finish it. it will need new glass for the windscreen and passenger door glass. The wheel rims are rotten. I have four artillery wheels to go with it. that may be an option and included.
The chassis has been painted and the bed is made of oak with new floor fitted to cab and new roof and lining around the rear window. The Mag and Dynamo have been over hauled and we believe the engine was over hauled in the fifties. But it was never run. The engine turns over free. I believe all the major mechanics are ok.
The paint finish looks better on the photos. but does have an original vintage look to it.
The brakes will need restoring and a wiring loom fitted. connect the fuel pipes and fit the instruments and free the window winders. With a set of new tyres. that should make it road worthy.
This is a very rare vintage truck and an unusual opportunity to own an eye catching vintage truck.
