1985 as a GT 6 coupe.

It has gone thru 5 major

modifications to improve weight distribution.

reduce weight. improve handling

and improve safety.

Chassis:

Front suspension: has been moved forward. the rack lowered. and

all the

rubber bushings have been

replaced with bronze bushings or Rod ends

Adjustable Carrera performance

shocks and race springs are included.

The top front A-Arms are custom

parts to provide adjustable castor and camber.

Rear suspension: uses the production suspension uprights with

4 custom links to provide

Short/Long arm camber change curves.

All suspension links include

bronze bushings or rod ends.

Adjustable Koni shocks and race

springs are included.

Steering: A 2 x Steering speed increaser is installed. Quick

disconnect Steering Wheel.

Rollbar complies to SCCA

Autocross rules

3 gallon Fuel cell exceeds SCCA

requirements for Autocross.

High capacity Holley electric fuel pump

installed.

Brakes: SS hoses installed at

all 4 corners. A Tilton hanging pedal assembly for the

brakes is installed. includes

Tilton Master cylinders and front/rear brake bias adjuster.

Camshaft: 282 degree Isky. Isky

hydraulic lifters. Isky pushrods. springs and keepers.

This motor will rev to 7200 RPM

with no risk to the internals.

Cylinder heads rebuilt by

Ridge Reamers in Arvada CO

Carb: Holley 390 CFM double

pumper. Offy Manifold optimized for low torque. Custom headers.

Oil system modified and includes

a pan and pickup made by Jim Mc Kamey.

Block Oil gallery bored out from

. 38 to . 50" diameter. High capacity oil pump installed.

with remote oil filter. Cylinder

head oil galleries drilled to accept flow limiters to prevent

over-oiling on the top of the

motor and (therefore) greater oil pressure to the bottom end.

Clutch/Trans/Diff

Flywheel is a Tilton Aluminum

forging. it weighs 15 pounds. Clutch is a Long style Chevy clutch.

Transmission is a GM Muncie M 22

close ratio. (Not a "Rock crusher")

Differential is a 3. 90 Subaru

with a KAAZ 1. 5 Limited slip.
