1980 Volvo 240

I am continuing to clean out my collection and garages. I am selling a 1980 Volvo DL 244 sedan. The car is running. driving . registered and inspected.

The condition of the car is as shown in the photographs and video below. The paint has shine but the photographs and videos appear better than in person. There are scratches. chips. fade and repairs were the tone is different (shown in the photographs). The plastic trim around the windshield is brittle with some pieces broken off. The window doesn't leak. but the trim could be replaced.
The original Volvo spare tire is still in place.
The interior is intact and is serviceable as is shown. howecver. the dash pad is cracked.

Since I have owned this car. the following work has been completed The hoses and belts have been replaced. The timing belt is new at 140 KThe water pump was replaced at 140 KThe intank fuel pump and filter was replaced The exterior pump and filters were replaced The intake manifold gasket is new The injectors have been serviced and all of the rubber seals were replaced The plugs. wires. cap and rotor were replaced The flame trap was replaced The thermal piston for the air intake was replaced Oil and filters replaced regularly at 3 K miles The tires are new O 2 Sensor is new Exhaust is new New pioneer stereo with Alpine speakers in the rear. I have not cut the package tray for the speaker grills - I didn't want to alter the original tray.
This car is driveable as is. It cruises right down the highway without problem.
It can be a running restoration. which is what I was doing. or it can be a daily driver.
I am selling my projects as I have decided that I no longer have time for this.

I believe that I have fairly and accurately described the car to any prospective buyer. While I like the car very much. and I have tried to describe it to the best of my abilities. you must rely on your own judgment to ensure that this car meets your expectations. I will consider the use of Paypal. however. if you wish to pay through Paypal. then you will be required to gross up the amount by the percentage (2. 9%) that Paypal collects from my account. if I choose to accept it.

I am sensitive to the issues of arranging transportation if you are a non-local buyer. With that knowledge. the car may remain where it is for up to three (3) weeks from the date that the funds have cleared and the title is released. Please note. that during this time. you will be responsible for the car.
