1970 Custom VW Beetle Shaky Jake for sale
Current customer rating:
Up for sale is the legendary "Shaky Jake" Award winning custom Show Beetle. This car was created in the early '70's by an eccentric VW pin striper named Chuck Babbit aka "Shaky Jake". Chuck bought this car brand new and proceeded to spend over $20. 00 on a $2500 car to make the most over the top Beetle of all time. The car was built by a who's who of So Cal artisans and took 4 years to complete. The car won every show it was ever entered in. until Chuck was asked to retire the car so others could start winning again! Shaky as we call him was restored in the 2000's and a huge sum was again put into the car to bring it back to it's original and improved condition. The Vehicle features a brand new 1776 crate motor with all of the chrome and billet accessories including twin 2 barrel down draft Weber carbs. The interior was freshened up in top shelf materials featuring Scat Pro-car leather bucket seats. The original VDO gauges and
Hurst
