Here is the nicest Comuta Car (Citi Car) I have ever seen.
If you have been looking for one of these vehicles. you know the deplorable condition of any of these cars that show up for sale.
Not this one.
It is clean and complete.
I bought it a year ago to enter a car show.
And. since I have five other electric vehicles. one has to go because lack of room.
The car is 48 VDC. eight Trojan batteries.
I have no idea of the range because it has been driven just a few miles.
I am not sure if the onboard charge works because I have never tried it.
I charged the batteries with a modern day smart charger which is included in the transaction.
It has the original archaic controlling motor system.
It is amazing what they came up with in the 80 s.
As far as I know. everything works on the car.
It drives just fine.
If you are expecting it to ride like a Mercedes. it does not.
More like a golf cart. and that is pushing it. If you would like to see the car. please feel free to set up an appointment.
