Seller's notes: "Car in great shape, some paint chips and a few spider cracks mostly on fenders, small oil leak on VW oil plug/filter. Cloth interior decent looking. Not perfect show car but looks good and shows well. Starts easy, runs good, shifts easy, not race car but has good torque and runs straight. Some rust and chrome peeling on luggage rack. Floor are in good shape no visable rust. Mileage on speedo is exempt, real mileage is unknown. Car is titled as a 1964 VW."

Runs good. sounds great with a throaty sound (sounds like a hot rod not a VW). Transaxle shifts good and has alot of torque. if you get on it you can feel the torque in the seat!!! Car runs straight down the road. Real throwback hot rod / old Indy car look. Fits in with classic car guys and hot rodders alike.

Very cool ride. New Indy 500 Firestone tires on Centerline rims 255/60/15 rears and 235/60/15 fronts(over 1 k in rims and tires alone). Luggage rack. split windshield. quality guages. spare tire side mount and front fenders included (not on car). Grant steering wheel with aftermarket turn signals. Buy this car and save. If I keep it I will restore and it will be worth over 14 k. You will be the only one in your town with this car. its rare and very cool.

I had to have it in my collection. but now its gotta go to pay for other projects. You will have fun with this car. drive it anywhere. play with it. People will stop you and ask what it is. even take pictures of it.
