I'm reluctantly selling my fantastic Syncro. Its carried me and my friends (and all my toys) for the 12 years I've owned it. My kids growing up and the family's grown out of it. Previous owner had it in Washington State where I picked it up.  

good operating condition (engine and transmission replacement at 211. 00 mi) . The vehicle is running great at about 224. 00 mi. The clear coat on the roof and front has begun to peel probably from snow/ice on the roof.  

This is a used classic vehicle in good condition. That being said it is not care free so it will be sold as-is. The vehicle is basically stock with a rebuilt engine. 14" wheels and syncro transmission with viscous coupling. Lower profile and lighter than the Westfalia models. This van loves Tahoe snow and can get you to far away offroad campsites.

Known issues: 

Battery drains after a day or two but charges fine under regular use. Probably something drawing current or a bad ground.  
Antenna snapped off but I have a replacement to go with the sale 
Rear wiper not working 
Alignment checked ok but front tires wearing unevenly 
AC works but never recharged. AC Duct detached from ceiling (VW recall problem)

Heat works good front and rear - heater core replaced several years ago 
4wd works great on snow or dirt 
Power locks 
Power windows 
Engine and cooling system working great 
4spd + L + R transmission (no locker) 
Exhaust piping fully replaced with recent engine job

Roof rackextra wheel set and spare
