These FJ40 vehicles are really hard to find in this condition. There is a folder full of receipts on the build of this Toyota. Looks like the build was started in 2008 and was completed in 2013. There was NO EXPENSE spared as alot of money was spent on the build. There was so much done that I will do my best to list but could miss something so calling me for info would be the best. There are over 100 pics of the build showing before and after pics. It comes with the hard top as well as a brand new soft top. The original 6 cylinder engine was pulled out and a completely rebuilt 400 small block Chevy engine was put in. There are receipts showing $3100 being spent on the rebuild of the engine that was done by a professional Hi Performance Engine Shop. It has a 750 Holley Carb and Eldebrock Intake. The following is some of what all was done: Replaced Rear Marker Lights & Tail Lights Replaced Front Turn Light Assemblies Replaced Door Panels & Door Handles Replaced Front Toyota Emblems Replaced Center Console & Rear View Mirror Replaced Shifter Boot and Transfer Case Boot Full Hardtop with Steel Doors & Steel Ambulance Style Doors New Weather Stripping New Soft Top & New Soft Top Frame ( Cost $1900 ) Worx 803 Wheels with Mickey Thompson Tires ( 35/12. 50/20 )(Spare Tire) New Kenwood Marine Stereo with Polk Ampilifier Lift Kit HFS Extreme ( 4 inch lift ) New Boots. Bushings & Shackles New 4 inch Bumper with Capped Ends New Winch on Front New Rear Diamond Plate for Quarter Panels New Speedometer Cable Flowmaster 40 Series Steel Exhaust New Heavy Duty Starter New Clutch and New Timing Chain New Carpet and Reskinned Rear Jump Seats Full Roll Bar There is much more that has been done.
