1967 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon

1967 15 Window VW Bus (Kombi). This was recently legally imported from Brazil and was gone through for rust and repaired then repainted there. It is a dream vehicle for many collectors and enthusiasts. You will not be unhappy driving this remarkable vehicle. As you can see in the undercarriage pictures there is some light surface rust there. this is very normal. Buyer will probably want to use something like POR15 or other surface rust converting paints to seal the base. I can do this for the buyer but would be an extra cost to be agreed upon and after full payment is received since that may not be the desire of all buyers to undercoat it. The Rossi headlights are non-stock and have an integrated turning signal. Swapping back to stock style would be up to the winning bidder to do at his/her discretion and expense.  

The engine is a 1500 Single Port. single carburetor driven engine. The brakes. e-brake and such all work and drives very smooth. It has a bench front seat and seats 9. This is an original 1967 and once registered in your state will a true 67. The 15 window option was dropped from US models in 1964 so this will bring some looks and pleased comments. The 15 windows refer to each of the pieces of glass in the car which you'll see includes the two rear corner windows. That is a rare sight to see and makes seeing out the back a breeze.

You have probably seen the stratospheric prices of some of these vintage buses on Barret Jackson and other auction sites. This one will sell with no reserve and at a significantly lower cost. This will be a great addition to anyone's collection for daily driving or weekends.

Listed mileage is an estimate true mileage is unknown. All gauges are in Portuguese and Km measurements. It will definitely be a conversation starter.

I will help with shipping and transport needs like delivery to a local shipper but the details of setting those up are strictly for the buyer to arrange.

The VIN number will not show up in US records that I know of.

The bus has not yet been registered in the US but all required paperwork will be included so you can do so in your state. No need to have it registered 2x in 2 months and states. Documents you will receive: DOT registration recording. US Customs declarations. fees all paid. import duties etc. has a clear Brazilian title. I am fully willing to register it in Colorado in your name. and at your expense. I also might even be able to register it to a pair of original YOM 1967 Colorado Plates (see picture). I will restore the plates to be fully painted.
