You are bidding on a beautiful classic 1972 Karmann Ghia Coupe with Air Cooled 1600 dual port engine. rarely seen optional Air Conditioning and more. Amazingly it still with its original loving owner. Karmann Ghia prices have steadily been on the rise. Timing is everything in life. If you have been looking for a nice Ghia Coupe that has been loved by only one owner its entire life here are a few more details.

The Details;

The body is solid has tight body gaps. The paint was redone over 20 years ago (i have the receipt) with quality Sikkens paint in the original Yellow color. It should be noted that this car was rustproofed from the dealer when it was delivered. The chrome bumpers. emblems and trim are in nice shape. It has the VW steel wheels & hubcaps that really make the classic look. it has always had garage indoor storage. The interior has basically been left factory original aside from the minor dash cracks its in as shown very usable condition. The floors are solid. A rarity to find in this condition.

The Mechanics;

It has a strong running 1600 Dual Port air cooled engine had tune-up & new carb. battery. mated to a 4 speed gearbox that shifts smoothly. Really a pleasure to drive anywhere with nice road feel & handling. It has low original chassis miles 65. 72 miles and rides solidly over the road as such. The optional factory AC which is rare in a Ghia remains intact but I have not used it in many years so assuredly it will need some attention to make it fully operational again.
