1956 VW Bug Completely Restored Very Nice Resto-Mod for sale

 I purchased this from the family that brought this car to the US in 1961. It is titled as a 1956. I have the NJ title in hand. This car is currently being driven. It is registered and insured as a historic vehicle. So. I use it for shows. parades and cruises.

Body:
1956 Yellow Hardtop on perfect rust free '62 pan w/original floors.
Original 1956 pan and doors come with sale if wanted.
Original 4 tab hood. deck lid and aprons. '59 doors w/new quarter windows. window scrapers and channel felt.
Glass Action '59 style front fenders w/wire tubes added.
Creative Car Craft 1. 25"wide rear fenders. Empi front Nerf and Center Bars.
New fender welt. All new rubber body. doors. window. hood and deck gaskets.
New door and hood handles. new hood Wolfsburg Crest and new locking deck lid handle.
All new stainless side trim. Powder coated roof rack. New running boards with stainless trim.
NOS Rossi head lights W/H4 bulbs. integrated parking lights & blinkers. Surface mount very bright LED tail/blinker/brake lights.
Working 12 Volt semaphores activated by a custom mounted self centering switch. New oil pressure and amp gauges.
Working wipers with 12 volt armature installed.
Trunk area nicely paint finished. carpeted and has new ABS dash panel cover installed. Gas tank painted w/new fuel tap. NOS VW gas cap vent. O. G. jack and handle included. 356 Spare wheel rim with 145/15 tire. Empi trigger shifter. VW spare tire tool kit not included in this sale.
Complete new TMI interior with '67 front seats w/new foam bottoms and upholstery. New panels. arm rests. head liner and rubber mats.
New radio speaker grill and glove box. New classic look/style AM FM iPod/mp3 ready radio w/front dual voice coil and rear box speakers. Battery tender under back seat hooked to gel cell battery.

Drive Train:
Original '56 front beam w/old school Selec-A-Drop adjuster. new king/link pins and new short shocks. '65 front brakes w/new shoes. wheel bearings and cylinders activated by a '66 bus master cylinder. New hub caps.
1968 long axle trans w/new type 3 rear shoes and cylinders. NOS type 3 five lug drums. new shocks and Empi sway bar. 5. 5 rear and 4. 5 front Mangel rims. 145/15 Nankang front 205/65/15 BFG rear tires

Engine:
1835 AS 41 Small Stud Case w/ original German crank eight doweled counter weighted and balanced. 8 dowel 12 lb flywheel. 9 spring bus clutch w/springer disc. aluminum degree front pulley. 92 MM Deano NPR pistons/cylinders w/new rings. 110 Engle cam. completly rebuilt CB heads w/S. S. 42mm intake S. S. 37mm exhaust valves and elephant feet valve adjusters. dual Kadron carbs. dog house fan shroud w/OG thermostat working w/all cooling tin and hardware hooked up properly. spin on oil filter HD oil pump. 1 1/2 qt deep sump. new alternator. New blue coil. electronic ignition distributor and rebuilt German fuel pump. OG heater boxes w/coated and wrapped chubby exhaust. The heat works great!

 I performed all the work but the paint and the machine work to the block and heads. The paint is a single stage which was color sanded and buffed. The engine machine work was done by a very knowledgeable local shop which builds many types of engines including  American Muscle and Foreign Tuner engines. The build is a little over a year old. I am a retired Master Technician and a former VW of America line and unit shop mechanic.
