1965 Pontiac Tempest/GTO Tribute 2dr coupe. Over the past 35 years Ive accumulated a number of classic car projects which have been in storage, and I hae decided to sell some of them. Ive had this GTO clone for about 13 yrs and just recently brought it out of storage. Its a 1965 Tempest/ GTO with a 428 4bbl, auto. The paint job was about 10 years old when I bought it. I will read you the drivetrain specs from the previous owner when I bought it. Car was originally a 326, it now has a 1969 428 XF code with factory 370 Horsepower,4 bolt main, bored .30 over, forged crank, Eagle H beam connecting rods, Lunati cam,Rhodes lifters, 1.65 Harlan Sharp roller rockers, Harden push Rods, 850 holly carb, newly rebuilt auto trans w/ shift kit and 3200 stall converter, balanced driveshaft, and a chevy 12 bolt posi rear with 4:11 gears. Car runs great (cold blooded at first start up) and its fast but gears are not for highway travel. Interior is in very nice shape, headliner looks original, is torn, needs sail panels, but seats, door panels,even carpets looks good. Chrome and stainless in pretty good shape. All glass looks good. Ti res have good tread but been sitting on concrete floor for at least 13 years ive had it. The body shows well, has chips, scratches, touch-ups they could have done a better job lining up the front clip,but still looks good and shines nice for an over 20 year paint job. The under body looks very solid, there are a couple of small floor patches on front floors, the rest looks great, and trunk floor may have had a partial repair at some point. Car has a clean and open title. I have tried to take detailed picures and am including some videos.
