This is a 1969 Charger that came from Georgia in 1984-85 and has been sitting in Kentucky since. The car is now in Michigan. There is no motor or transmission. It was a 383 Big Block car with air conditioning. It was originally built with a 383 with 2 barrel, automatic, a/c and light green exterior paint. A St. Louis built assembly plant car.

The history of the car that I was told was that this was a TV Show jump car. I had read in the past that the jump cars were piped with dual exhaust flex hose from front to back, where needed, because it was cheap. This car has evidence of that flexpipe as seen in the photos. The previous owner also told me that there was something segnifigant about it being car #167 but he didn't remember exactly what that meant.

I was going to restore this car with all new AMD Sheetmetal and build a 69 Charger the way I wanted it, but knowing the cars history, I think it should go to someone that wants to preserve "Dukes History".

A. Keep the car as is, in its last present condition from when it left the tv show and keep it as a desplay.

B. Get the car up and running and stopping on its own power and drive it. Missing original hood, grille and front bumper....but you could find those used, to match the vehicle.

C. Restore it completely as the General Lee! All the sheet metal is available from AMD and many other supplier companies.

D. Restore a 1969 Charger however you want.

I just cannot bring myself to make a regular 69 Charger and possibly ruin a piece of Dukes of Hazzard history....so I am selling the car.

Condition of the car, Quarter panels will need to be replaced along with the tail panel that houses the tail lights and the lower rear valance and body close out sheet metal, needs trunk floors and interior floors. The left rear frame rail is blown out....my guess is the way the car was stored and rain water rotted it away with the trunk floor. The right rear frame rail is good and both front frame rails are there. It does not look like the jump that the car did didn't hurt itself that bad. The right front K-Member bolt came undone from the frame rail when the right front frame rail bent inward some. The radiator support shifted inward and crinkled and both front fenders came inward at the front. The inner engine compartment front inner fenders did not rust out and did not appear to take on any damage or any serious damage at all. The windshield was kicked out it seems. I do have the dash board with VIN Tag and instrument cluster with guages and that obviously goes with the car. There are front bucket seats and a rear seat back and seat cusion and some interior trim moldings and door edge top pieces with the car. No signs of the roll cage and no center console.
