1988 Honda CRX

Hate to let her go but the time has come.

Just so you know. if i had my own home with a garage to accommodate. you'd never know she even existed.

With that said. what you are viewing is my 1988 Honda CRX Si.

Everything is stock with the exception of the wheels and exhaust.

I restored my baby back in 2013-14. Over $7 K in body/rust restoration alone due to most of it having to have been fabricated (more pics upon request).

You simply can't go out and get replacement panels for a car this old.

I purchased the car back in 2007 off of e Bay from a seller in NY.

The car only had 33. 00 K mi on it at that time.

It currently has 142. 00 K (or so) miles on it as it has been my daily driver for the past 10 yrs here in the islands.

Oil changes religiously every 3000-3500 mi.

Car absolutely mechanically sound in every way.

NO LEAKS or weird noises at all.

I'm in my mid 40 s so it's time to get a grown up car (LOL).

With that said. all miles put on the car since i've owned it have been adult driven miles……never raced!!!!! The car comes with 2 Honda OEM half masks for the front (very hard to find).

Both are in excellent condition and fit perfectly.

As one can see. it was in really good condition then.

However. being a bit of a perfectionist. I just decided to do the restore to have it absolutely flawless.

Restoration done by Studio Auto Body in Kahului HI.

Wanted to keep it all stock so I had it re-sprayed factory yellow.

Wheel's are 17” with relatively new Falken tires.

Thermal exhaust makes a nice note but not obnoxiously loud like a ricer.

Willing to include the stock set of Si wheels on newer tires if the buyer wants them.

Buyer responsible for shipping of them if applicable.

Otherwise. the car will come with the black wheels.

AC and sunroof not in working condition.

Sunroof will open but will not close due to a piece having broke off the rail/arm on the driver side.

Sunroof motor still works though.

Also. the hatch struts need replaced.
