Several people have asked about the body and engine numbers. I've added photos to the website linked above that show the data plate. engine plate. and the hood marking (it appears to be the numbers 3566). Based on the data plate. it looks like the original body paint color was White. Also I believe the engine plate indicates this is a factory replacement engine. The hood body number matches the data plate. 3566. Lastly. somebody asked about the 2 small holes in the glovebox door. My father in law (rest in peace) told me there had been an emblem of some kind affixed here. I do not know what kind of emblem it was.

Car is now re-listed and I want to explain why the initial sale did not close. Overseas buyer wanted to purchase the vehicle at BuyItNow price (39900) but there was not enough time to complete a pre-purchase inspection. So we agreed he did the BuyItNow (39900) and if any serious issues were discovered in this inspection. I would cancel the sale and refund the full deposit. So following a very thorough inspection (which included test drive and putting the car on a lift) by the most detailed car inspector I've ever witnessed. the final report in fact DID reveal some unexpected issues that I was not aware of. Although none of these issues were all that serious (in my opinion) and I was willing to discuss repairing most of these. the Buyer exercised his option to back out of this purchase as we had agreed. and so I met my end by fully refunding the deposit.
Here are the issues from the inspection that I have now fixed which were identified in the inspection:

1. Wipers not working
2. Coolant reserve reservoir tank mount bracket broken at the weld
3. Horn did not operate
4. Rust on undercarriage at the right and left rear corners of the cabin between the doors and rear wheel openings
5. Oil leak from oil pan or rear main seal
6. Exhaust system rusted I HAVE JUST REPLACED THE WHOLE EXHAUST SYSTEM WITH BRAND NEW FULL STAINLESS STEEL
7. Fuel injection pump leaking
8. Brake booster signs of leaking fluid from master cylinder
9. Radio arial broken
10. Both doors and hood opening gaps mis-aligned I HAVE ADJUSTED THE ALIGNMENT. IT IS MUCH BETTER MAYBE NOT CONCOURS d'ELEGENCE PERFECT. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS.

Again the items above are defects found in the report THAT I HAVE FIXED.

Here are the issues from inspection report that I have NOT fixed. because I personally do NOT agree with. These are NOT serious issues for a car that in fact looks STUNNING and this is NOT a Class 1 Show Car but is just 1 or 2 points below Class 2
1. Right side door edge has a paint chipped due to it hitting the body
2. Right front fender has a web-like cracking under the paint along the top of the fender at windshield
3. Wood trim showing age THE WOOD WAS REFINISHED DURING RESTORATION BUT THAT WAS SEVERAL YEARS AGO
4. Carpet showing wear TRUE. SEE PHOTOS. ALSO I HAD ALREADY DISCLOSED THIS IN ORIGINAL LISTING

Again the items above are defects found in the report THAT I HAVE NOT FIXED because I disagree that it needs fixing. I have added more photos of these areas so YOU can see for yourself (better yet come see and drive the car).

Why am I telling you all of this. especially the non-flattering information? Because I am a 100% honest seller and you need to know the full truth about this car.

Although I refunded the previous buyer's deposit because the timing didn't allow pre-purchase inspection. I do not want to go through this process again. So if you are interested in this vehicle. you must complete any necessary inspections BEFORE you bid and BEFORE this auction ends!!!
